There is no shortage of tasks to do and quests to complete while playing Moonlight Peaks, but fans can break up the chore list with a romantic encounter. Moonlight Peaks‘ primary gameplay loop is heavily influenced by the relationships that are built while playing, and many of these stories hold critical information on what happened to the town and why so many of its inhabitants are struggling.
To start dating in Moonlight Peaks, you will need to build relationships with everyone, as the stories of each family are intertwined. Players can date multiple townsfolk at once, and can even get married to the character who steals their heart. However, picking who to settle down with will be no easy feat – and some of the options are a bit strange.
In this guide, we will go over each character that can be romanced in Moonlight Peaks, what they are like, and where they fit in the story.

All Romanceable Characters in Moonlight Peaks
There are 23 romanceable characters in Moonlight Peaks as of its launch on July 7, 2026. Some of these characters will be introduced on the first day. Others are secret and will be hidden under a spoiler tab for those who want to bump into these special NPCs on their own. Below is everything to know about each dateable character.

 Orlock | Vampire | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Orlock is a deeply haunted Vampire with an alcohol problem. He spends his days trying to run from the monsters in his past, pushing his friends and family away with bad choices. However, as he starts to recover, a deeply romantic and raw side of his personality blooms. |
 Evan | Vampire | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Evan is one of Orlock’s children and has a younger, more laid-back personality. They enjoy relaxing and simply being in the moment. However, they are struggling deeply with how Orlock has spiraled. |
 Mina | Vampire | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Mina is a bright, excitable vampire, Orlock’s other child, and Evan’s sister. Mina is very close to Evan, loves working at her job, and finds joy in all the little things. She worries immensely about Orlock and is doing her best to keep the family from coming apart. |
 Samael | Vampire | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Introduced as Orlock’s Nephew, Samael is dark and mysterious. He is kind, but doesn’t stop for deep conversations. His backstory and how he ended up in Moonlight Peaks are a complete mystery. |

 Jada | Human | Tied to quests and story progression with Persephone. | Jada is a relic collector with a big, intense personality. She is always raring to go, but sometimes forgets to stop and spend time with the people around her. She is a character who unlocks later in the game. |

He is terrified of supernaturals, and seems out of his depth in a town filled with strange and unusual occurrences. His story arc is one of facing fears and learning about new people. |
 Saga | Werewolf | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Saga has a lot on her plate. She had been trying to ease the feud between Orlock and her father, Brook, but with little luck. She and the other younger residents of Moonlight Peaks want a brighter, better future, and she will stop at nothing to make it happen. |
 Ridge | Werewolf | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Ridge is Brook’s brother and is much more laid back than the unhappy mayor of the town. He runs the Howling Hammer, and spends his days working around town and making sure his son, Ludo, stays out of trouble as much as possible. |
 Ludo | Werewolf | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Unlike Saga, Ludo is a werewolf looking for relaxation and carefree fun at all times. He gets in trouble for pranking other locals, regularly finds himself at the mercy of Brook, and pulls everyone around him into his shenanigans. He is a goodball who spends most of his time transformed into a wolf. |
 Dragan | Seer | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Dragan is a Seer who struggles with visions. Due to his unpredictable powers, he can seem out of touch and a bit wishy washy. He spends most of his time perfecting his card game or attempting to spin daily occurrences as something he saw in a vision. |
 Alina | Seer | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Alina is a firecracker with powerful abilities. She has little patience for Dragan, and like Saga, is set on trying to make Moonlight Peaks a better place to live. She is intense, passionate, and ready to tackle anything you throw at her. |
 Aras | Seer | From Spring 1 Year 1 | Aras has taken a different direction from the other Seers, and is much more interested in running their fashion store and staying up to date on more creative elements of daily life. They are kind, caring, and soft spoken. Every interaction feels like a warm blanket. |
 Death | Supernatural | Tied to quests and story progression. | Death is tired of doing their job, but is more than happy to let you help. As you give them a hand with all the tasks weighing them down, you end up unearthing the dedicated and caring person hidden under burnout and demanding expectations. |
 Llemi | Supernatural | Introduced in Spring Year 1 before the Lovage festival. | Llemi is a strange creature that, weirdly, can be romanced. They are a love demon – like a goblin version of Cupid – and every interaction is definitely memorable. They are a harder romance to accomplish due to limited time spent in Moonlight Peaks. |

The characters covered below have important story requirements that contain spoilers. They can only appear after certain requirements are met, like progressing to a specific point in the main story or unlocking late-game areas. Because of this, we have put them in their own category to prevent spoiling major plot events.

When Can You Start Dating?
The option to date characters begins at Heart Level 4. Players can then invite an eligible character to go out with them and participate in a variety of dating minigames. It is possible to fail the date. To avoid this, pay attention to instructions and show up to the date on time. Failure results in lost friendship points.
Can You Get Married in Moonlight Peaks?
Yes, it is possible to marry the character you date in Moonlight Peaks. While we have yet to reach this point in the story, it is possible to marry and settle down with the character you have chosen to date.
It is not possible to marry more than one character at the same time.
Can You Have Children in Moonlight Peaks?
No, you can not have children with your spouse, and there is currently no plan to add the mechanic. However, those who marry the older characters like Ridge and Orlock can become step-parents to their existing children.
Can You Turn Characters Into Vampires
Yes, you can change your partner into a Vampire. However, we have not yet unlocked this mechanic and will update this guide when we have the information.
How to Change Character Portraits in Moonlight Peaks
In Moonlight Peaks, you can change the character portraits between two presets. To do this, follow the steps below:
- While playing Moonlight Peaks, open the main game menu using the “+” button on your Nintendo Switch.
- Enter “Settings”
- Select “Portrait Style” at the bottom of the Gameplay Menu
- Select between styles 1 or 2
The first style is a cartoon portrait style with realistic shading. The second style is anime-inspired and very cute and bubbly.
Moonlight Peaks‘ story is driven forward by the characters you meet and how you interact with them. In order to get a full experience, you must take time getting to know everyone. However, only one will become your special someone.
