Dragan is the oldest of the Khazan seer siblings in Moonlight Peaks, and also the in-universe inventor of Nokturna, the town’s card game.
He talks a big game about fate and foresight, wind-whispered signs, the whole mystical routine, but his own predictions are famously unreliable, a fact he covers with more theatrics rather than less. Underneath the act is someone quietly convinced his siblings, Aras and Alina, got the real gift and he didn’t.
Dragan is a big fan of Moon Crystals, Rose Quartz, and anything with “Void” in the name. In this guide, we’ll break down all of Dragan’s gift preferences, his heart events, and the best answers for each encounter.

All Heart Events For Dragan in Moonlight Peaks
Dragan’s usually easy to find, putting on a show for anyone who’ll watch. Below are Dragan’s heart events and the conversations you can have with him. We’ve noted where the responses genuinely diverge rather than force a single “correct” answer where there isn’t one.
One-Heart Event
Entangled Enigma
To start Dragan’s first heart event, find him any time after reaching your first heart with him. He greets you with a whole mystical routine about fate and the wind, then abandons the act mid-sentence to admit something: he can’t actually see the future anymore, not the way the rest of the Khazan family can.
Dialogue Choices:
- Respond to the confession,
- “Don’t worry, neither can I!” (“Well, you’re a vampire. Nobody expects you to see the future.” He admits both his siblings have far more talent than he’ll ever have.)
- “Wait, you used to?” (same admission about his waning powers follows either way.)
- When he insists on testing what’s left of his intuition by guessing your order,
- “Actually, that sounds nice.” (“Aha! I knew it! Maybe my powers have not entirely abandoned me!” He notices his powers seem to “burn brighter” around you.)
- “Wrong! I’m getting something else.” (he takes the miss in stride, and Mina reassures him he “can’t win them all.” Same realization about your presence follows.)
Two-Heart Event
Painting Perspectives
Dragan is trying his hand at painting after a lifetime of only designing his Nokturna tarot cards, and he’s spiraling, ready to abandon the canvas more than once.
Dialogue Choices:
- When he insists it’s not ready to be seen,
- “Can I see?” (“No! I mean, it’s not ready to be unveiled… Perhaps I should abandon this endeavor and return to my beloved cards.” (Aras wanders by and actually helps him rebalance the composition.))
- “What isn’t working?” (“All of it! Every brushstroke makes it worse!” Same spiral, same rescue from Aras.)
Three-Heart Event
Watch Them Go By
Dragan invites you to sit and make up fanciful fortunes for everyone who walks past, a game he clearly finds genuinely delightful.
Dialogue Choices:
- When he asks you to join,
- “Can I join you?” (“By all means, take a seat! Let’s see what fate has in store for us today.”)
- “Sounds like fun!” (same warm invitation follows either way.)
Four-Heart Event
The Maze
Dragan tries dreamwalking, an old Khazan gift he’s never managed to pull off, and for the first time it half works, except the dream he stepped into turned out to be his own. He asks, carefully, if you’d be willing to try a real one together, warning you upfront that it’s an intimate thing to attempt. The dream itself plays out as a hedge maze with a fork in the path (left or right, both lead to the same clearing) and a choice to follow a mysterious sound or drink from a fountain, purely atmospheric, no wrong turn to worry about.
Dialogue Choices:
- When he asks if you’ll try it with him,
- “I’d love to, Dragan.” (“Very well. Relax, and just listen to my voice…”)
- “Well… Is it dangerous?” (“Not in the slightest. Just relax, and listen to my voice…”)
- Once you both wake up from the shared dream, respond,
- “Yeah, it was like we were one person!” (“I think the reason this worked was because of how synchronised our thoughts were… Whatever lies at the end of that maze is the key to reclaiming my seer abilities.”)
- “It was a bit spooky…” (“I guess we were lucky.” Same realization about the maze follows.)
Five-Heart Event
The Whispering Stars
Dragan takes you somewhere quiet to look at the stars, in full poetic form, wondering aloud whether they whisper stories of love.
Dialogue Choices:
- Match his mood,
- “Very poetic.” (“Ah, but with you, how could I speak any other way?”)
- “It really does!” (same warmth follows either way.)
- When he brings up the bond between you, respond,
- “You really think so?” (he admits he clung to you early on out of fear that losing you would mean losing what little power he had left.)
- “Love, huh?” (same admission follows either way.)
Six-Heart Event
Changing Faces
Dragan takes you back into the shared dream, this time finding the maze filled with silhouettes, shadows each holding a secret he can’t reach alone. He says he feels more secure in his powers now and thinks he can manage a real dreamwalk this time, if you’re with him.
Dialogue Choices:
- When he asks if you remember the maze,
- “You mean the maze?” (“Yes, the maze. A strange journey, wasn’t it?” He explains the silhouettes and asks you to join him again.)
- “I’m afraid I don’t.” (he reminds you gently, and the same request follows.)
Seven-Heart Event
Can You Bite Me?
Worth flagging up front: unlike most of the other final heart events, this isn’t a request to be turned. Dragan brings up the idea of becoming a vampire to walk your path with you forever, then talks himself out of it in real time, saying something in him resists it and it doesn’t feel like his path. He’s visibly anxious you’ll read that as him being less committed to the relationship.
Dialogue Choices:
- Reassure him,
- “You don’t need to be anything other than who you are.“
- “I just want to be with you, no matter what.” (“As do I, my love. You are the light I seek in every shadow.”)
After reaching Heart Level three in Moonlight Peaks, you will be able to hug Dragan, and starting from Heart Level Four, you can ask him out on dates, which also enables kissing. It is possible to lose hearts by doing badly on dates or giving hated presents. However, if you don’t give him a Coin, you should be headed in the right direction.
How to get married in Moonlight Peaks
Once you hit eight hearts with someone, a proposal option shows up at the end of a date.
If the other person says yes, you’ll be able to set the wedding date on the spot, which then logs itself on your calendar. You can swing by Third Eye Threads the next day for white wedding attire if you want to dress up, though the game won’t force you into it.
On the day itself, the ceremony kicks off the moment you wake up.
Marrying locks you into monogamy. Anyone else you were dating drops to a heartbroken “hurt” status capped at four hearts, and your new spouse gets two more hearts to earn with you.
How to break up in Moonlight Peaks
To break up or get a divorce, you’ll need to speak to Llemi.
When you’re ready, head to his place in the Pink Grove (you’ll need Luna Bay unlocked first) and tell him you want out. Sleep through the night and your ex is back to being a regular friend by morning.
If you’re hoping to remarry after, budget the time: you’re starting that climb back to eight hearts from scratch.
Still here? Good.
