Mina runs Coffee & Coffins in Moonlight Peaks alongside her younger sibling Evan, and she’s the one who talked their father Orlock out of shutting the whole place down after their mom disappeared.
Mina is a big fan of pink flowers, party decorations, and Diamonds. She lights up around anyone who takes the time to actually ask how she’s doing, rather than just accepting the cheerful front at face value. She’s constantly worried about her dad, Orlock, whose drinking has gotten worse, and she’d genuinely rather focus on the things that make her happy than talk about it.
It’ll quickly become apparent that Mina is carrying more than she lets on, and she notices when someone actually asks. In this guide, we’ll break down all of Mina’s gift preferences, her heart events, and the best answers for each encounter.

Mina’s Gift Guide

Below are all of Mina’s gift preferences in Moonlight Peaks. If you have a Diamond, a Pink Rose, or literally any party decoration, you’ll be in good shape. One honest correction to what you may have read elsewhere: community sources claim Mina hates all alcohol, but her actual in-game data shows Beer, Red Wine, and White Wine are only Neutral for her, not Hated, only Mana Wine specifically is disliked.

All Heart Events For Mina in Moonlight Peaks
Mina’s almost always behind the counter at Coffee & Coffins. Below are Mina’s heart events and the conversations you can have with her. We have bolded the best answers for each interaction during events.
One-Heart Event
On the House
To start Mina’s first heart event, visit Coffee & Coffins at any time after reaching your first heart with her. You’ll catch her and Evan quietly worrying about Orlock before she puts her cheerful face back on.
Dialogue Choices:
- After she deflects with forced positivity
- “Are you sure everything’s all right?” (she opens up a little: “I appreciate you asking… Like this place… and being around people like you.”)
- “It sounds like you really love it here.” (pleasant, but stays surface-level, straight into small talk about coffee)
Two-Heart Event
Behind the Smile
After reaching two hearts with Mina, head to The Broken Lamp to trigger her next event. This one is a real heart-wrencher, as Mina attempts to send her father home after he has had too much to drink. This event requires a good deal of care when dealing with dialogue.
Dialogue Choices:
- After sitting down
- “Are you okay?” – Try to keep the answers on Mina’s well-being to help her feel supported.
- “What was that about?”
- When she expresses upset at having to manage Orlock
- “You’re doing your best,”
- “I’m here for you.” – This answer feels the most supportive, but either will progress the conversation.
- When Mina confesses, she feels she is putting on a front to keep people from worrying
- “You don’t always have to be happy.” – This answer provides support and helps Mina keep talking.
- “How come?” – This answer will move the conversation along and is a bit more neutral.
- When she asks if her headspace is silly
- “It’s not silly at all.” – This answer validates her feelings and gives her room to be upset and let her walls down.
- “You’re amazing just as you are.”
After reaching Heart Level three in Moonlight Peaks, you will be able to hug Mina, and starting from Heart Level Four, you can ask her out on dates, which also enables kissing. It is possible to lose hearts by doing badly on dates or giving hated presents. However, if you don’t give her a Coin, you should be headed in the right direction.
