Mina runs Coffee & Coffins in Moonlight Peaks alongside her younger sibling Evan, and she’s the one who talked their father Orlock out of shutting the whole place down after their mom disappeared.
Mina is a big fan of pink flowers, party decorations, and Diamonds. She lights up around anyone who takes the time to actually ask how she’s doing, rather than just accepting the cheerful front at face value. She’s constantly worried about her dad, Orlock, whose drinking has gotten worse, and she’d genuinely rather focus on the things that make her happy than talk about it.
It’ll quickly become apparent that Mina is carrying more than she lets on, and she notices when someone actually asks. In this guide, we’ll break down all of Mina’s gift preferences, her heart events, and the best answers for each encounter.
Mina’s Gift Guide

Below are all of Mina’s gift preferences in Moonlight Peaks. If you have a Diamond, a Pink Rose, or literally any party decoration, you’ll be in good shape. One honest correction to what you may have read elsewhere: community sources claim Mina hates all alcohol, but her actual in-game data shows Beer, Red Wine, and White Wine are only Neutral for her, not Hated, only Mana Wine specifically is disliked.

All Heart Events For Mina in Moonlight Peaks
Mina’s almost always behind the counter at Coffee & Coffins. Below are Mina’s heart events and the conversations you can have with her. We have bolded the best answers for each interaction during events.
One-Heart Event
On the House
To start Mina’s first heart event, find her at Coffee & Coffins any time after reaching your first heart with her. You’ll catch her mid conversation with her sibling Evan, worrying over their dad Orlock getting worse. She brushes it off fast and pivots straight to pouring you a coffee.
Dialogue Choices:
- When she insists it’s nothing to worry about,
- “You sure you don’t want to talk about it?” (“I appreciate you asking. But sometimes I feel it’s easier to focus on the things that make me happy. Like this place… and being around people like you.”)
- “Are you sure everything’s all right?” (same deflection follows either way.)
- As she talks up the job, respond,
- “I’d love to hear more about your work!” (“Thanks, {Player}. Work has been a good distraction for me. I love seeing everyone happy.”)
- “It sounds like you really love it here.” (same enthusiasm follows either way.)
Two-Heart Event
Behind the Smile
You witness Orlock drunk and combative, refusing to go home while Mina and Samael try to manage him. Afterward, Mina admits the real weight she’s carrying: a fear that if she’s not cheerful all the time, people won’t like her, on top of constantly cleaning up after her dad.
Dialogue Choices:
- Check in on her,
- “Are you okay?” (“I’m all right, hanging in there. I hate seeing him act this way, though. It’s as if I’m always responsible for managing the fallout from his actions.”)
- “What was that about?” (same weight comes out either way.)
- Once she admits the pressure of always seeming happy, respond,
- “You don’t always have to be happy.” (“I know… But it’s hard. I guess I’m afraid that if I don’t seem happy, people will notice that something’s wrong.”)
- “How come?” (“I need people to like me. I need them to see me as the fun, friendly {Mina}. Because if I’m not that person, then who am I?”)
Three-Heart Event
The Lost Letter
Mina shows you a letter she wrote to Orlock years ago and never sent, one where she poured out feeling like she and Evan weren’t enough to reach him.
Dialogue Choices:
- Once she’s told you the whole story, respond,
- “That must have been hard.” (“It was. I wanted to help him, but it feels like I failed. It’s like {Evan} and I weren’t enough for him.” She adds that she’s glad you’re here to share this with.)
- “Do you think you can still reach him?” (same admission follows either way.)
Four-Heart Event
The Perfect Gift
Mina’s spiraling a little over what to get Evan for their birthday, wanting it to feel meaningful and worried she’ll get it wrong, especially since she suspects Orlock will forget to get them anything at all.
Dialogue Choices:
- When she second-guesses her gift ideas,
- “Just follow your heart.” (“You’re right… I’ll go with what you said and mix in some smaller trinkets!”)
- “They’ll probably like anything from you.” (same reassurance lands either way.)
Five-Heart Event
A Second Opinion
Mina’s testing two new cupcake recipes for the café menu, a rich Void Cupcake and a light, fruity Fairy Cupcake, and wants your honest read on which one should make the cut. This one’s genuinely just a fun taste test with no emotional stakes attached, so there’s no wrong pick here, whichever flavor you choose, she’s thrilled to have the company and floats the idea of baking together again sometime.
Dialogue Choices:
Six-Heart Event
A Heartfelt Thanks
Mina thanks you for standing by her through everything going on with Orlock, then admits she’s already been quietly working on a wedding cake recipe, just in case you two ever get there. She’s clear she’s not trying to rush things, she just can’t picture her future without you in it.
Dialogue Choices:
- Respond to her gratitude,
- “I’ll always be here for you, Mina.” (“Oh you! I don’t know how I would have managed without you.” She goes on to reveal the cake project.)
- “I’m glad I could support you.” (same reveal follows either way.)
- When she says she loves you,
- “I love you too, Endearment.” (she pulls you in: “Come here, I just want to hold you! I love you, honey!”)
- “It’s maybe a bit too much right now.” (she takes it graciously: “I see. I’m sorry to hear that.”)
Seven-Heart Event
Sweet Reminders
Mina is recreating a recipe from her mother, who disappeared years ago after getting too close to a strange portal deep in the forest during the Witching Hour, despite Orlock’s warning to stay back. The search turned up nothing, even Death himself, whose realm the portal connects to, couldn’t find a trace of her. Baking the recipe with her own twist is how Mina stays close to that memory.
Dialogue Choices:
- Once she’s told you everything, respond,
- “That’s so heartbreaking, Mina.” (“I cling to the hope that she’s still out there somewhere. Baking this recipe makes me feel a bit closer to her.”)
- “I’m really sorry.”
After reaching Heart Level three in Moonlight Peaks, you will be able to hug Mina, and starting from Heart Level Four, you can ask her out on dates, which also enables kissing. It is possible to lose hearts by doing badly on dates or giving hated presents. However, if you don’t give her a Coin, you should be headed in the right direction.
How to get married in Moonlight Peaks
Once you hit eight hearts with someone, a proposal option shows up at the end of a date.
If the other person says yes, you’ll be able to set the wedding date on the spot, which then logs itself on your calendar. You can swing by Third Eye Threads the next day for white wedding attire if you want to dress up, though the game won’t force you into it.
On the day itself, the ceremony kicks off the moment you wake up.
Marrying locks you into monogamy. Anyone else you were dating drops to a heartbroken “hurt” status capped at four hearts, and your new spouse gets two more hearts to earn with you.
How to break up in Moonlight Peaks
To break up or get a divorce, you’ll need to speak to Llemi.
When you’re ready, head to his place in the Pink Grove (you’ll need Luna Bay unlocked first) and tell him you want out. Sleep through the night and your ex is back to being a regular friend by morning.
If you’re hoping to remarry after, budget the time: you’re starting that climb back to eight hearts from scratch.
Still here? Good.
