For many farming sims, the museum is a staple. Yet early on in Moonlight Peaks, it seems like this game doesn’t have one. Rest assured, those bugs, fish, and shiny dig spots will eventually lead you to your very own museum. But your efforts are part of the story, helping bring the museum to life, and you’ll also help fill its collection. If you’re eager to start your museum journey in Moonlight Peaks, our guide is here to help.

How to Get the Museum in Moonlight Peaks

Two quests lead you to the museum’s grand opening. To start the journey, you’ll need to reach the point where Persephone, Jada, and Winston move into town. For us, that happened around the start of Fall during year one. They’ll take up residence in the abandoned house on the pier.
Once Jada moves in, you’re on your way. Continue to build your relationship with her through daily chats and gifts. Soon, she’ll find an old scooter and share her dream of setting up a supernatural museum. But of course, she needs your help to do it.
In the first museum quest, you’ll need to gather four artifacts. Talk to the heads of each supernatural family to get them: Brook (but really Saga, as he’ll tell you he’s too busy for all that), Dragan, Fiona, and Orlock. Each of them will ask a favor in return for their artifact. Complete their requests and bring the items to Jada to get the scooter museum up and running.

Not long after you complete this quest, Jada will dream bigger. She finds an abandoned building to the east of Town Hall that she wants to turn into a museum. Again, you’ll need to pitch in by helping clear and decorate the park. Then, invite guests to the museum’s grand opening. Most of them will say no, but don’t panic – that’s by design.
After the grand opening party cutscene concludes, the museum is officially open for business, and you can start completing the collections. After this point, dig spots will sometimes spawn rare artifacts. Other items for the collection are more common, such as bugs, fish, and 2-star quality crops.
How to Donate to the Museum in Moonlight Peaks

Now that the museum is open, how do you donate items? When something in your inventory is part of a museum collection, you’ll see a helpful museum icon over it. This helps you avoid selling or using items that you still need to add to the museum.
Donating in Moonlight Peaks works a little differently. Rather than going to the front desk or talking to Jada, you need to visit the specific room you’re donating to. The museum has 5 different collection rooms, which you can reach by walking up to the portal in the main room. Here is the list of rooms and which collections are located in each:
| Room Name | Collection(s) |
|---|---|
| Supernatural Room | Witch Collection Vampire Collection Seer Collection Werewolf Collection Mermaid Collection |
| Deity Room | Deity Collection |
| Farming Room | Farming Collection |
| Aquarium | Aquarium Collection |
| Critter Room |
Once you’re in the correct room, approach the collection you’re donating to. There will be an exclamation point sign nearby. Interact with the sign to donate your item(s).
Supernatural Room Collection Guide

This room houses five different collections, each themed after the supernaturals that live in Moonlight Peaks. Each one has a separate sign that you’ll interact with to donate. These collections are a mix of relatively common items, like flowers and foods, and rare artifacts you’ll find from digging up spiral spots. Here’s how to complete every supernatural collection.
