Orlock is a sloppy mess who thinks he’s a man of sophisticated class in Moonlight Peaks. In fact, his trouble with wine and obvious state of an on-fire dumpster may be a bit off-putting when you first get started in town. However, anyone who takes the time to unravel this messy vampire will find someone romantic, charismatic, and a bit ridiculous under all the bad choices.
If you are interested in romancing Orlock, he loves Diamonds and Red Roses. He is also a fan of most alcohol, but giving it to him feels a bit wrong. I know I have avoided accidentally encouraging his negative habits, opting for cupcakes and cute flowers instead.
Cracking the code to Orlock’s theatrical heart is no easy job, but when you do, you will find a surprisingly sweet, gentle, thoughtful man who has been through a lot during his centuries of existence.

All Heart Events for Orlock in Moonlight Peaks
Orlock’s heart events can happen in many different locations around the map. Because of this, you will want to check your map for sparkling event markers when you reach the required heart levels to know where you may find him.
His dates are typically flower-arranging sessions, where he will request bouquets with lots of red and black flowers.
One-Heart Event

Two-Heart Event
My Cherished One
To begin this event, walk into town after reaching the second heart with Orlock. He will be looking for a lost item while simultaneously hungover and drunk.
Dialogue Choices
- When you walk up to him, ask him if he is alright.
- “Hey, are you okay?”
- “Having a rough time?”
- When asked if you brought him here
- “No, I found you like this.”
- “Of course not.”
- When asked where “she” is, respond
- “Looking for someone?”
- “Who?”
- When asked if you took “her”, respond
- “I have no idea what you are talking about.”
- “I think I know what you’re looking for.”
- After helping Orlock find Misty Meel, the violin, respond
- “That’s a pretty name”
- When told that the violin is special, respond
- “I’d love to hear a song sometime.”
- “I’m not getting my hopes up about hearing a song from you.”
Four-Heart Event
Unfortunate Shift
After reaching heart level four with Orlock, head to the coffee shop to start his next event. This one is a bit of fun and shows a lighter side to Orlock’s relationship with his children.
Dialogue Choices
- After hearing about the bet, respond
- “Hold on…what bet?”
- “I never thought I’d see Orlock in uniform.”
- When asked what you want
- “I’m good, actually.”
- “I’ll take a cappuccino”
It seems either answer will work for the final interaction, but sparing Orlock the shame of making a coffee earns some brownie points.
Six-Heart Event
The Perfect Portrait
After reaching heart level six with Orlock, head to the Ambrosia Estate and step inside. This will trigger Orlock’s first romance event.
Dialogue Choices
- When you catch Orlock posing
- “Uhhh…what exactly are you doing?”
- “Are you…practicing poses?”
- When asked which pose is the best
- “The brooding one, obviously.”
- “The second one, I guess…”
- “They’re both…very Orlock.”
- When told that your input is helpful
- “Happy to help.”
- “You’re really taking this seriously, huh?”
Eight-Heart Event
Song of Hope
After reaching eight hearts with Orlock, you will need to head to the Ambrosia Estate to trigger his next heart event. However, instead of making improvements on his drinking or learning about the reason for his unstable life, he will be in the midst of a creative panic.
Dialogue Choices
- After interrupting Orlock, he will admit he has been struggling with some “artistic torment.” Respond,
- “What were you playing just now? It was beautiful.”
- “Sorry, didn’t mean to interrupt you!”
- When Orlock explains that he was writing a song for you, respond,
- “You’re writing me a love song?”
- “You really are a romantic under all that bluster.” – If you pick this option, he will freak out.
After reaching heart level three in Moonlight Peaks, you will unlock the ability to hug Orlock. From Heart Level Four, dates will unlock, and you can start sneaking kisses. Remember to pay attention during dates, as picking the wrong flowers can result in a failed date. This will cost you heart points, which will have to be regained through additional gift-giving.
