Portable drawing is critical for most modern digital artists. The ability to draw on the go, free of a PC and all its hamperings, can be the difference between success and failure for those juggling multiple jobs. Ugee, Huion, and XPPen have all offered different solutions via Android tablets over the past few years, and now Wacom is entering the race with the MovinkPad 11.
The Wacom MovinkPad 11 is an Android tablet that offers 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage space, compatibility with the Pro Pen3, and 11×7 inches of premium drawing space.
This new tablet gives artists the power of Wacom from anywhere, and it comes with all the standard bells and whistles the brand is known for.
The MovinkPad 11 Is “Just The Beginning

In a press release shared by Wacom debuting the MovinkPad 11, Koji Yano, Senior Vice President at Wacom Business, stated, “Whether you love to doodle between classes or are moving up from drawing on a smartphone screen, this portable creative pad makes it easier and more fun to just draw. And this is just the beginning—stay tuned for
What’s to come in the portable creative pad series?”
The brand has alluded to other portable drawing options, promising that bigger and better things could be announced in the near future.
The MovinkPad 11 comes with all the standard features of a mid-range Wacom device. Multi-touch controls allow artists to manipulate their work, while the three programmable buttons on the Pro3 stylus offer streamlined solutions to processes.
At this time, Wacom has not revealed the price of the device. The Standard Wacom One wired drawing monitor sat at $500 while the Movink 13 OLED comes in at about $700 with all of its needed accessories. It is likely this new tablet will sit somewhere in this price range, especially if it is trying to compete with other options currently on the market. At 11 inches, it is smaller than Ugee’s Trio Pad or the Magic Drawing Pad by XPPen. Despite this, Wacom’s reputation within the digital art industry will help it compete as it steps into the more affordable line of portable drawing options.
Hopefully, the MovinkPad 11 will bring something to the table that artists have yet to see and continue to push the boundaries for what is possible with portable digital art options.
