Spirit City: Lofi Sessions Gives a Peek at What’s Next with 2025 Roadmap, And It Looks Good

The ultra cozy productivity game Spirit City: Lofi Sessions just came out with its Cozy Kitchen DLC. This delightful new addition brought a kitchen nook and food-themed spirits to the game, but developer Mooncube doesn’t plan to stop there. Recently, the team shared a 2025 Roadmap for Spirit City: Lofi Sessions listing out the exciting new updates headed our way.

The roadmap includes a preview of the Spring Update, headed our way May 12th, along with a few notes about July’s Summer Update and beyond. It’s exciting to see a game keep up with free content updates alongside more expansive paid DLC, and it looks like Spirit City is just going to keep on getting better.

What’s Next for Spirit City: Lofi Sessions

The newly revealed roadmap showcases what’s coming in the next free update, which will give the game a spring refresh. Here’s what we can look forward to in the Spirit City: Lofi Sessions Spring Update, coming on May 12th:

• A new spirit
• New spring-themed Spirit skins
• Color customization for bedroom items and clothing
• Custom hair gradient colors
• A new spring window background
• New cleaning activity
• Reset function for custom colors

We love a new spirit to collect, and it’s always fun to get some new activities and cosmetic options in the mix, as well. Following the Spring Update, Mooncube has a few things already in store for a Summer Update, as well. This update will arrive sometime in July, and though it’s not quite as fleshed out, it will include some summer soundscapes, tropical drink snacks, and a beach window background.

From there, the roadmap gives a peek ahead at future updates in the works. One of them is a dream feature for me, more customization for the Pomodoro timer! I tend to get so in the zone that I totally miss the timer sound, so I look forward to being able to change the sound and see what other improvements Mooncube has in store. There’s also plans for more new spirits, productivity stats, and another new paid DLC expansion!

I can’t wait to see the Spring Update in action in a few weeks and look forward to learning more about what’s next for Spirit City. This game continues to be my favorite idle game cozy companion for work and other tasks, and there’s so much good stuff in store for the rest of this year!
