Joe Wild’s Network opens on day 7 in Probably Stolen, and it’s where most of your early credits end up. Some upgrades pay for themselves inside a week, while others look tempting and quietly eat the cash you need for rent.
I’ve worked through the whole network in the launch build, so these are the upgrades I’d prioritize, what each one gives you, and why it’s worth the credits. Prices are for Normal difficulty. Keep in mind that Hard costs 50% more, Challenge doubles them, and any Wild Favor you’ve earned is spent before your credits.
Best Wild’s Network Upgrades to Get Early

| Upgrade | Cost | What you get | Why I’d get it |
|---|---|---|---|
Showcase Expansion I | 200 | One extra display case buyer every day | It’s permanent and pays for itself faster than anything else. Put your best luxury items in the case. |
Red Imp Brewery | 200 | Red Imp’s number (8815) and a free case of beer the next day | Beer arrives at a 20% wholesale discount, in orders of 8 or 16 every four days. It’s the easiest steady stock early on. |
Buyer Referral Service | 200 + 10 a night | One extra buyer and one extra display case buyer every day | Two more customers a day, and half the nightly fee comes back as Wild Favor. |
Seller Referral Service | 200 + 10 a night | One extra seller every day | More cheap stock to flip, with half the fee back as Wild Favor. I pair it with Buyer Referral. |
Retired Winemaker | 200 | A winemaking kit and a winemaker visit every Friday | The cheapest production trade in the game, and a good bottle sells for 150 to 175 credits. |
Water Trading | 300 | A water cleaning kit and a weekly water trader | It unlocks Gutterflow On Tap (250) and Rustwater On Tap (350) for unlimited free water, plus Aquaculture. |
Marketplace Requests | 250 | Buyer requests on your store PC | Requests pay above market value, and they clear the odd items clogging your shelves. |
Rent Grace | 100 | Pay a missed rent bill together with next week’s | Cozy and Normal give you one for free. Rebuy it after you use it, because the price doubles each time. |
Minor Shareholder: GP Mining Coop | 900 | +15% courier discount and 6 Metal Ore every Friday | The cheapest buyout, paying back in about 10 weeks from the free ore alone. Needs the GP Mining Coop introduction (250). |
Minor Shareholder: Red Imp Brewery | 1,450 | +15% courier discount and a free case of beer every Thursday | Worth it once you’re ordering beer every week, since the courier discount jumps to 35% on top of the free case. |
