What Platforms is SoS: Grand Bazaar Available On?
Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Does SoS: Grand Bazaar Include LGTBQA+ Options?
Yes, players can engage in same sex romance as well as choose pronouns separate from physical appearance. This includes a They/them pronoun option.
Is There Character Customization in SoS: Grand Bazaar

Yes, there is complete character customization in Grand Bazaar. When setting up the game for the first time, players are able to select their body type, hairstyle, hair color, eye color, skin tone, voice tone, and eye shape. The options are a bit limited, but the models are cute, and the ranges do create unique-looking characters. The character creator also offers some fun colors for hair and eyes, as well as moles, facial hair, and freckles for a bit of extra flair.
Players can also select their preferred pronouns while setting their birthdate, name, and farm name.
Beginning Farm Layout in SoS: Grand Bazaar

When getting started in Grand Bazaar, things are in better shape than players might expect. The house is already in good shape, with a Kitchen, Barn, storage, bathroom, and field ready for use.
However, much of the property is currently blocked off, locked behind upgrades that must be purchased at the Bazaar.
How to Use the Bazaar in SoS: Grand Bazaar
Players will be introduced to the Bazaar mechanics within just a few minutes of booting the game. After a cinematic view of Zephyr Town, Mayor Felix will take them to the Bazaar area and provide a handful of basic staples to put out on the table.
This will then trigger a short tutorial about the Bazaar, which happens every Saturday in two shifts. The morning and afternoon shifts are broken up, allowing players time to shop at the other stalls at the Bazaar.
There is a small storage area at the Bazaar tent that can be used at any time during the week to store goods, and it is from this storage that the Bazaar tables draw during market hours, not from player inventory.
The core mechanics of the Bazaar are stocking the shop and then setting goods out on the tables to attract customers. This is the primary way to earn money in Grand Bazaar, and is how players will progress the plot tethered to the Bazaar Rank that increases as profits are earned every Saturday.
It is best to avoid selling goods at the Mercantile as much as possible, as earnings will be lower, and they won’t go toward the Town Rank score.
Beginner Tips & Tricks for SoS: Grand Bazaar
Don’t Sell Crops at the Mercantile
I made this mistake in my first playthrough, and it seriously hampered progress with the Bazaar Ranks. Be sure to hold as much of your early crops and processed goods for the Bazaar as possible to earn high profits.
Utilize the Bazaar Storage
It is more than worth it to take finished products to the Bazaar and store them at the tent rather than in your storage. This keeps your home storage from filling too quickly, but also ensures that what you need for Saturday doesn’t need to be brought in multiple trips.
Get the Second Farm Upgrade as Quickly as Possible
As soon as the second farmable area becomes available at the Carpenter’s Shop at the Bazaar, grab it. This additional area makes it possible to get trees started, as well as keep up on the crops needed to make the Bazaar profitable.
Unlock the Windmill as Soon as the Quest is Available
Do not linger on the windmill quests. These are the keys to making processed goods, upgrading tools, and completing numerous quests that progress friendships and unlock recipes and other rewards.
Buy All The Recipes From The Cafe In Town
Don’t wait to buy the recipes from the cafe in town. They are needed to learn key recipes that will make early Bazaar days profitable, but also ensure you don’t constantly need to purchase food to keep your energy up.
Process Wood and Rocks into Lumber and Stone Early
While not particularly helpful at the start of the game, huge amounts of Stone and Lumbar are needed after accessing the Blue Windmill in order to continue upgrading tools. To help with this, start processing wood and rock daily to store, so it will be available in bulk when you need it.
Get Bag and Storage Upgrades from Wilbur’s Bazaar Shop As Soon As Possible
Storage is the key to success in Grand Bazaar. While they aren’t cheap, players should work on getting as many upgrades from Wilbur as possible in the early seasons of the game. This will make it possible to store food items longer and have a better profit at the market.
