In recent years, I have become a real sucker for smart lighting. It’s not for the ability to yell demands at the robot, or to “smart” fit my home, but because I have been looking for a way to add something special to the lighting of my living spaces while reducing lightbulb waste. I have several smart lamps, but Linkind’s Smart Light Stick Pro bulbs have really changed the game when it comes to my lighting options that don’t stand on their own.
When I first left home (an embarrassing number of years ago), eco lighting was a new concept. I grew up with soft white bulbs that died every few months and then needed constant replacing. I remember dropping more than one, shattering glass everywhere, stepping on that glass despite a hefty amount of sweeping, and throwing all that glass in the trash to eventually make its way to landfills.
Unfortunately, it took some time for me to shift away from cheap light bulbs, especially because the eco options were not really in my budget, and they didn’t really outlast the cheaper bulbs by all that many hours.

However, in the past few years, lighting technology has made some big leaps, turning home lighting into something of an art project. When I moved to Washington and we took up residence in our tiny little townhouse, my partner and I knew we needed some solutions that would impact the low ceilings, ancient light fixtures, and dark corners of this character-forward abode.
Linkind Is Simple Smart

One of the things that drew me to Linkind was the simplicity of the bulbs. While they hook up to an app, the bulbs are not trying to run your kitchen, power the sun, or solve the low parking issues outside my apartment.
In fact, the big sell on the Smart Light Stick Pro is that it can emulate a flame, which is perfect for an outside Halloween decoration or a dual-toned mood setter in your living room. I was shocked when I downloaded the app and found that there were dozens of presets already made that I could just click and enjoy, making them easy to install and use.
The bulbs can handle 850 lumens at 60 W and are energy efficient, costing only $.89 a year in total. My cheap incandescent bulbs were costing me about $12 each, and that is eye-watering to think about. Additionally, these bulbs can last for years, instead of months, and I am all about not having to fetch a step ladder every few months to do a full reset of all the lights in my house.
The Smart Light Stick Pro Bulbs Are Unique

Unlike your average round bulb, the Smart Light Stick Pro bulbs are shaped as cylinders. This might make them tricky for your standard coffee table lamp, but they look smart and classy when put in a standing lamp or in a clear glass lamp on your wall or outside. They can glow like a flickering flame, move like a lava lamp, or be set to show color in strips.
My five-year-old son loves sitting with me and picking through the presets, so that we can have the perfect ambiance for a living room-turned dragon den, or cozy homework getaway.
My favorite thing to do is turn on the cozy Christmas preset, snuggle deep down into my sofa, and read until I fall asleep on the pages. The light doesn’t hurt my eyes, but ensures I have enough illumination to read without an issue.
If you are looking for a new way to light up your home, are wanting something more eco-friendly and versatile, or are just looking for a way to add something special to the lighting in your office or family space, the Linkind Smart Light Sticks Pro bulbs are more than worth the cost. I plan to switch my whole house to these stunning bulbs over the coming months, and can’t wait to see how they will light up our holidays this season.
The Linkind Smart Light Stick Pro Bulbs can be found on Amazon for $39.99 and are compatible with AiDot, Alexa, Apple Home, and Google Home.
