How to Get the Glider in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar

Of all the tools and abilities in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, few are as important as the Glider. However, players won’t find this mobility device ready to go when they start the game. Instead, they will need to work their way into the hearts of the Nature Sprites to obtain access to their wind-powered ride.

The glider is one of the unique gimmicks of Grand Bazaar. While players can still ride their horse around town once unlocked, the Glider allows farmers to use the breezes of Zephyr Town to get from place to place.

Below is a breakdown of how to unlock the Glider and how to use it in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.

How to Unlock The Glider in SoS: Grand Bazaar

To unlock the Glider in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, the player must meet the Nature Sprites and get them to join the Bazaar. The sprites have a home that can be reached on the edge of town. Once this location is discovered, they can join the Bazaar at their own table.

We discovered the Sprite’s Home on Day 13 of Spring during the first year. That next Saturday, when entering the Bazaar area, a cutscene played that introduced the Sprite table that exchanges Happy Energy for various goods and decorations.

During this cutscene, players are gifted the basic glider as a gift from the Nature Sprites.

How to Use the Glider in SoS: Grand Bazaar

Getting the hang of the glider can be tricky, but the best way to master it is to pay close attention to the weather. The effectiveness of the glider is based on the wind speed for the day, which is shown by a windsock in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen.

On windy days with updraft, players will be able to reach hidden locations and travel quickly across the town using the glider. On days with less wind, this travel can be impacted, and certain areas that are high up will not be accessible.

The Glider is particularly fun to use during Hurricanes, when the wind speeds will throw characters across the valley.

The Glider can be customized by purchasing colorations from the Happy Shoppe using Happy Energy. This will allow players to change up the color and style of their glider to match specific outfits or occasions.

While not accessible right from the start of the game, the glider is a delight to use and will become a staple part of the Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar experience in short order once equipped.
