If you are anything like me, you’ve spent the entire year trying to figure out how to smash as many Pokémon-related goodies on your desk as possible. With the 30th anniversary nearly over, and my love of Pokémon ever-expanding, I am always on the hunt for some way to add to my cute, cozy desk theme. Thankfully, Razer has me covered with the Pikachu and Eevee desk accessory collection – and if you love pink, Pikachu, Eevee, and quality gaming gear, this could be just what you need as well.
My entire office is Pokémon-themed. I have stuffed animals on my monitors, a giant Piplup pillow propped on the corner of my desk, and an entire bookcase of stuffies, figures, collectibles, and standees towering up the wall beside me. However, the one area of my desk that has yet to be properly added to this fantastic, colorful aesthetic choice is my desk setup.
In fact, one of the most difficult things about being a cute, cozy gamer is the lack of options that aren’t gunmetal grey or MMO-themed. When Razer launched the Pikachu and Eevee collection, I was so excited. Not only is it not grey or black, but it’s pink. It’s a bright, petal pink that matches all the Sylveon decorations on my desk and around it. The bright colors light up the room and bring a little touch of springtime to your office, even with winter barreling down on us at a rapid pace.

A Solid Complete Desk Set
The Razer Pikachu & Eevee collaboration collection includes a complete gaming-ready desk set. The headset, keyboard, mouse, and desk mat all blend seamlessly together, and each includes an adorable illustration of Pikachu and Eevee on a petal pink background.
One of the struggles I have found with collaboration sets is that they might only include a headset, or a mouse and keyboard, making it hard to harmonize all the items on your desk. For those who like cohesion and balance, this can be a bit frustrating. After all, a pink keyboard and a Gengar headset might clash a bit for those aiming to achieve a cozy vibe.
The Pikachu & Eevee collection ensures that you get a complete set, while also keeping to a mid-range price for Razer products. This ensures that those who would like to get it aren’t looking at a $200+ price tag per item.
Affordability With a Few Sacrifices
Unfortunately, affordability does come at a bit of a cost when it comes to what is included in this collection. The first thing to note is that every item in the collection is wired. While this means that response time will be amazing and accurate, it does come with a good deal of wire clutter.
The wired products are also less universally usable, making it hard to pair these cute accessories with a laptop or a handheld device due to the bulkiness and compatibility. I know I can’t plug any sort of wired headphones into my ROG Ally X or Nintendo Switch 2 because my cat loves to try to eat the cables while cuddling on the sofa.
This makes the set great for desktop, but less ideal for those who need to be portable. Additionally, the wired-in option limits replacements. So if your cat decides to chomp a cable, you won’t be able to swap a spare USB-C to USB-A in, effectively bricking the affected gear.
Outside of this, the only other drawback to this set is the lack of a tenkey. While this may not be a hang-up for gamers who aren’t typing or working from home, it can be a major inconvenience for a setup that serves multiple purposes.
Sharp, Well-Built Accessories
Despite the drawbacks listed, every item in the Pikachu & Eevee collection is a top-quality accessory. My personal favorite is the wired Cobra mouse. It is cute, ergonomic, and features multiple programmable buttons.
Additionally, the Kraken V4 X is a luxurious wired headset with a retractable microphone, soft ear cushions, and a delightfully light weight. You can game for hours and avoid headband fatigue or swampy ears. They are also extremely durable, so if you are thinking about grabbing these for a younger Pokémon fan for the holidays, they are going to hold up well.
The Ornata V3 is a lovely low-profile keyboard with Razer mecha membrane switches and bright Chroma RGB. I did find that I had to change the color from white light, as it made reading the keys difficult. The white on pink is a bit intense. However, Chroma can be adjusted to any setting you like, and once set up to shine blue, it worked perfectly.
My favorite thing about the Ornata is the hand rest, which features a large illustration of Pikachu and Eevee taking a nap. It adds such a nice additional decoration to my desk, and I can’t get enough of it next to the desk mat.
Final Score – 8/10
The Razer Pikachu & Eevee collection is one of the cutest gear collaborations I’ve seen for the 30th Anniversary. Each item is well-built, runs well, and performs perfectly for gaming and everyday work. If you are a gamer who needs wireless options, or someone who prefers a tenkey, this set may not be for you. However, if you are looking for something with a smaller footprint, a full variety of accessory options, and a cute overall appearance, this set isn’t one to miss.
If you need a bigger keyboard, or just really need Pikachu and Eevee in your life, the desk mat and mouse are absolutely worth adding to any setup, and I can attest that you won’t be disappointed by the performance or the adorable level-up to your desktop.
