Fields of Mistria Skill Tree Guide: All Skill Perks & How to Unlock Them

In Fields of Mistria, players will develop many skills to help them around town, from farming to mining and everything in between. As you complete tasks, your skills level up… but that’s not all.

Fields of Mistria skills also offer perks that you can unlock to improve your skills and make life easier. You’ll only be able to see available perks as you reach the appropriate level, so if you’re curious to know what skills are available, our skill tree guide can help.

How to Level Up Skills & Unlock Perks

Leveling up skills in Fields of Mistria is all about the hands-on experience. Your skills increase as you perform related actions. In other words, improve your Fishing skill by catching fish and get better at Ranching by tending to your animals.

As you engage with the world of Mistria, purple bits of magical energy will occasionally spawn. You can collect this magical essence and take it to the dragon statues on your farm and in the mines to purchase perks for your skills.

To unlock perks in Fields of Mistria, you will need to reach the correct level in the corresponding skill and also exchange a certain amount of essence. Currently, there are four tiers of perks for every skill – the tiers unlock at Level 1, Level 15, Level 30, and Level 45 for each of the different skills.

Archaeology Skill

The Archeology Skill lets you find treasures when digging at the Ruins and diving in the waters of Mistria. As you level up this skill, perks will let you encounter rarer and more valuable treasures.

Tier 1 Perks – Unlock at Level 1

Blacksmithing Skill

Use the anvil in town to create weapons and armor to increase your Blacksmithing skill. Higher skill levels will let you craft better items, and the perks will help you gather materials and add more magic to your creations.

Time Sensitive	Crafting time for blacksmithing recipes reduced by 10 minutes	10 Essence

Combat Skill

Battling in the mines increases the Combat Skill, which lets you beat toughter monsters and more easily make your way through the different biomes. Perks for this skill boost your offense and defense to improve your battle prowess. To get these perks, you’ll need to visit the dragon statue in the mines.

Cooking Skill

Improving your Cooking skill lets you create new dishes and possibilities in the kitchen. Unlocking perks helps improve your creations and the cooking process.

Farming Skill

The Farming Skill lets you care for your crops, earning higher yields and more efficient ways to farm. Perks will increase your yield and offer other advantages to get more from your hard work on the farm.

Fishing Skill

Casting your rod will increase the Fishing Skill, letting you reel in bigger fish. Unlocking perks will help you catch better fish and avoid getting trash tangled in your line.

Mining Skill

Breaking rocks in the mines will increase your Mining Skill, letting you get more gemstones and break more rocks. Like Combat, Mining perks can only be unlocked at the rundown dragon statue in the Mines Entrance.

Ranching Skill

Your Ranching skill reflects your care and keeping of the creatures on your farm. Feeding your animals and tending to them on a daily basis increases this skill, earning you the ability to unlock perks to make caretaking a bit easier.
