Back in July, my fellow Spirit City: Lofi Sessions fans and I got the news we’ve been waiting for: another DLC with fresh spaces, sounds, and Spirits to uncover. After several enticing teasers, Mooncube has finally revealed exactly when fans can step into its Magical Library. And thankfully, we don’t have too long to wait.
The Magical Library expansion will be the fourth major paid DLC for Spirit City: Lofi Sessions. Like previous add-ons, it will add a new area with new activities, ambient sounds, and of course, adorable new Spirits to find. I’m already flexing my guide muscles to round up how to get every new Spirit. But first, the DLC has to actually get here! The Magical Library DLC for Spirit City: Lofi Sessions will release in just a few weeks on August 24th.
What to Expect from Spirit City‘s Most Magical New Expansion Yet
I didn’t think I could be more excited for a Spirit City expansion than I was for the Cozy Kitchen DLC. And yet, taking the cozy focus game to the library is almost too perfect. The Magical Library Expansion will give us a new arcane sanctuary to set up our study or work sessions in. It will be filled with magical tomes, enchanted artifacts, and new Spirits to lure out of hiding. And now, we can mark our calendars for its August 24th release date!
Just in case “magical library for Spirit City” isn’t enough of a sell for you, the teaser trailer below shows off a little more of the vibes headed our way. And yes, this includes a sneak peek of one of the new Spirits hiding in the magical library waiting to be uncovered.
When it arrives, this latest major expansion will introduce new Spirits, including the manta ray spirit from the trailer above. It will also add a fully customizable library space, complete with a fireside area and plenty of bookshelves to stock. The new enchanted wardrobe will offer some more cozy, magical outfits for our avatars, and the library will also offer up some new activities to partake in.
A library area has been one of the most requested additions to the game since it released back in TK. Now, it’s almost here, with just a few more weeks to go before we can set up the perfect cozy bookish coworking session. Not to mention meet a few more adorable Spirits. We don’t have a full count for how many new Spirits and Variants will arrive, but it will likely be similar to previous DLC in the 10-15 range.
You can wishlist the Magical Library Expansion Pack on Steam for a reminder as soon as it’s available to purchase.
