One of the core gameplay mechanics in Little Witch in the Woods involves collecting a variety of ingredients. To brew up potions and candies and help out the Wisteria villagers, Ellie will need a full set of tools at her disposal. But not every tool is as easy to unlock.
That’s where our guide to all the tools available in Little Witch in the Woods comes in. We’re here to help you get full use out of the toolbar, as well as to let you know about those items that won’t be available until later in the game.

How to Switch Tools
To see which tool you currently have equipped, you can check the icons at the bottom left of the screen. You’ll see an icon for the currently equipped tool there. Collecting certain ingredients will require using the right tool, so pay attention to what you’ve got equipped before trying to gather quick-moving critters!
To swap tools, hit the Q button or the Up direction on the controller keypad to open the tool wheel. Then, select the desired tool using the corresponding number or direction with the joystick. When playing with a controller, you can also use the left and right directional buttons to quickly swap through your available tools without opening the wheel.
