Diablo Immortal has joined in on World of Warcraft‘s 20th Anniversary celebrations with a new limited-time mode, complete with new rewards and modes to enjoy.
The Eternal War event will see the two IPs collide with items and cosmetics themed around some of WoW’s iconic characters, and new content to complete and conquer, all in celebration of World of Warcraft’s milestone birthday.
Battle the Lich King and Conquer Cutthroat Basin in This Celebration of Blizzard Flagship MMO

Diablo Immortals Eternal War event will run from November 13, 3:00 AM to December 11, 2:59 AM local server time, and will have multiple elements to it, namely different events, content, and rewards for players to snag while demon slaying and celebrating World of Warcraft.
The most notable inclusion is the new boss battle in the Frozen Citadel, which sees players take on the Lich King himself in an encounter filled with obstacles, as the Lich King will unleash frenzied ghouls, abominations, and many undead horrors on players. By defeating him, you’ll have a chance to earn legendary cosmetics. You’ll need to earn Fallen Citadel Gates from Dungeons, logging in, and rare drops to take on this boss battle.
Along with this, there is a new PvP map called Cutthroat Basin, inspired by WoW’s classic Arathi Basin map. This will be a conqueror map, with skill orbs themed around classic abilities such as Blink, Eagle Eye, and Blessing of Kings. On top of that, you can expect to see the classic locations, the Mill, Smithy, and Stables during your conflict.
As for other cosmetic offerings, there are new Murloc Familiar skins, Ashbringer weapon skins, with the Betrayer’s Bonds Phantom Market, which gives players a chance to earn an Illidan-themed cosmetic set, including a Kill Streak effect and Nimbus.
Players can also expect a 100% EXP boost from the Clash of Saviors event, which runs from November 6, 3:00 AM to November 17, 3:00 AM server time, as well as specific rewards.
By taking part in this event, completing daily tasks, and doing Cutthroat Basin and Fallen Citadel, you’ll earn Frozen Boons and progress through the event, unlocking the rewards, such as skins, items, gems, and more, with For the Horde and For the Alliance Emojis being the final rewards.
As a bonus, players with a level 10 character who log in during the event will earn a Treasure Nabbin’ Bag cosmetic for World of Warcraft, so event WoW players can get something from the event.
The event is just the newest inclusion to Diablo Immortal, which has had an impressive year of content and updates in its “Age of Unmaking”, including a new class, multiple new game modes, and a new story. This is on top of Diablo 4 getting its Vessel of Hatred expansion, and World of Warcraft kicking off its months-long 20th anniversary event. All in all, it’s been a busy year for Blizzard.
