When it comes to meeting people in Sovereign Tower, many of the actual introductions are a mystery. Part of the excitement of this game is discovering the secrets behind each knight, and the detective work
Once you have located the knights you are looking for, you will want to cook for them, get to know them, and boost your relationship for a chance at romance. But until then, focusing on just finding them all is more than enough of a task.

All Knights in Sovereign Tower and How to Recruit Them

Here is exactly how to recruit all twenty-odd knights in Sovereign Tower:
| Knight | From | Act | How to unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() Alwena | Grest | Any | Alwena will volunteer to become a Knight if all knights are unavailable (sent out on a mission). Once this requirement is met, head to the Round Table and she’ll offer to go out on a mission herself. Make sure you have an available spot on your table to recruit her though. |
![]() Angelica | Clovermont | 1 | Starting knight. She’s with you from Cycle 2. |
![]() Ari | Isle of Basalt | 3 | During the Basalt Isles first audience about the succession dispute between two brothers, Rorik and Gotfrig, pick “We’ll speak with the local merchant guilds.” They refuse to help and then let slip: “You could ask… Ari, our little brother, why not? Invite him for us. I bet he’s got countless griffins for sale.” You can then recruit him from the map room, costing 25 funds. |
![]() Arron | Drakovic Castle | 2 | Defeat the Dragon Knight, the game’s first real boss fight. He personally introduces Arron as his own descendant immediately afterward. |
![]() Brunhilda | Fort Gavault | 1 | You can only recruit Brunhilda if you side with Gavalt on the second day, when both Damian and Arnold show up at your court. Or if you use your Demon powers to rewind time and refuse to pick sides. After the first audience with Gavault’s ruler, you’ll be able to welcome Brunhilda. |
Chester | – | 1 | You can unlock Chester by resolving the Cleankeeper goose contract in Milkford. In part 2, make sure to either send a knight carrying cheese or Gwendan specifically. When Chester shows up at the Tower afterwards, select the dialogue option: Was this bird not, in the end, just looking for a little company, like the rest of us? And he’ll offer to join your Roundtable. |
![]() Childeric | Almora | 2 | Send one of your knights to compete against Childeric for the Almor jousting tournament and make sure your knight wins. Do not send Goberto. Afterward, Childeric loses his rulership and asks to join instead. |
![]() Daguez | Grest | Any | This fires when a faction’s satisfaction collapses far enough to trigger the people’s revolt event. You get four responses: “Let’s knight one of them at my Table to show our esteem.” If you pick this option, you’ll get to recruit Daguez. |
![]() Dulahan | Unconfirmed | Any | Unlocks if Goberto has died. |
![]() Edith | Avalon | 3 | In the first Moonvale audience with Countess Medea, ask: “By any chance, is there a knight in your area who knows a thing or two about dragons and spells?” Fallback Map Room cost is 25 funds. |
![]() Epicrate | Brimwood Congregation | 3 | Resolve the Brimwood Congregation questline, a multi-stage affair including a testimony branch and a serpent-knight finale. |
![]() Gideon | Tower City | 2 | He wanders in as a spontaneous encounter at your court, a knight “seeking purpose… and possibly dramatic lighting,” talking about wanting glory and shiny armor. By the end of that same conversation, his formal request unlocks. Fallback cost: 25 funds. |
![]() Goberto | Naoned | 1 | Starting Knight. Arrives in Cycle 2. 10 fund fallback. |
![]() Gothild | Mana Strala | 3 | Resolve Enberg’s murder investigation into the death of Yohav by sending a high wits knight on Suspect Interrogations, which eventually implicates Victoria. The investigation’s resolution frees her to join you. Alternatively, on your second run, ambush Victoria in the early game to recruit her in the first two acts. |
![]() Gwendan | Villador | 1 | Starting Knight. Arrives in Cycle 3. |
![]() Ligia | Southbay Gate | 2 | Win the lamp quest before its 3-cycle deadline. You’ll need to use your demon power to rewind once you solve the quest for the first time, as someone else finds the lamp first. |
![]() Oliver | Angelor | 2 | In the opening minutes of the game, you either decided to let you of your attacker or executed him. If you let him go, Oliver will eventually wander into the Tower asking for a job. |
![]() Rufus | Belthorn | 3 | Spoiler: Not a separate recruit, he’s The Wolf, transformed. Once Wolf is already on your roster, complete “Remove the Curse” in Groveshire (Magic-heavy), and Belladonna the Witch cures him back to human. |
![]() Silgur | Beaconsbury | 1 | Complete “Kill the Beast” in Groveshire instead of taming or curing it. Once the Count pledges Groveshire as your ally, Silgur will request an audience. |
Tarcus | Mavignac | 1 | During the early Gavault questline, send knights on “Noble investigations” or “Taverns investigations“, which both route you to the mother’s-side audience. After completion, you’ll get an audience, where you must select the following dialogue option that confirms you’ll stop Brunhilda. |
![]() The Wolf | Belthorn | 1 | Send Angelica specifically on “Fight the Werewolf” in Almor, normally a simple trophy hunt, and get the special tamed outcome instead of the standard kill. |
![]() Ursula | Mossgart | 1 | No requirements. She shows up automatically around Cycle 5. |
![]() Victoria | City of Enberg | 3 | To recruit Victoria, you need to welcome her into your Tower, and at the final fork of her first audience, pick: “Would a knight of your caliber agree to join my Round Table?” Then, clear however many trials she sets, then accept at the trials-completed audience |
Zolta | Volga Camp | 2 | To recruit Zolta, you need to cheat in the Kutnar derby. Here’s how I did it: Send Tarcus on the quest Rush in Laik Vallée, the first Kutnar quest. This will trigger an unexpected outcome and will open up the possibility to “cheat through treacherous mountains,” an option you must pick during the second Kutnar audience. After successfully completing that quest, send Tarcus on one of the mountain races, succeed, and then do a summit quest with a non-horse mount. |
How Many Knights Can You Actually Have?
Your Round Table has a hard cap, and it grows as the story does. Act 1 holds 6 knights. Act 2 raises that to 8. Act 3 opens it up to 10.
With more than 20 recruitable knights in the game, you will never hold the full roster at once, so catching them all means managing who stays and who you let go, not just chasing down every name on this list.
Still here? Good.

Hello! I really like your guide. But I’d like to make a few additions that you’d hopefully add to this guide for future Sovereigns!
Victoria: Complete her questline (including assassinate Yohav). You can lie, but she’d betray you at the end of the cycle if you do and take your best knight that is available on the Round Table.
Dulahan: Let Goberto die and he’ll arrive using Goberto’s armor.
Rufus: can be obtained in act I if you pick the ‘track the magical trails’ option when being offered the option.
Hello! Thank you so much for pointing these out! I am jumping in to check them out and add them tonight!
