I get it. We’ve all been there. You’re lounging on a lazy afternoon (or maybe a chaotic morning, who cares), aimlessly scrolling the internet, desperately searching for a game to play.
Sure, you’ve got a backlog that’s practically dragging you into oblivion and a wishlist that could rival the length of a Tolstoy novel. But nope, not today. Today, what you really crave is something new.
BA’s Radar is your personal guide to the freshest releases of the week. We hand-pick the best of the bunch, so you never have to wonder what to play next.

- Release date: June 8, 2026
- Developer: Cyberwave
- Publisher: rokaplay
- Platforms: Steam | PS5 | Xbox | Switch 2
Solarpunk is out today. A two-person studio from Germany spent four years making a cozy survival game where the world floats above the clouds and everything runs on sunlight and wind. You build, farm, and pilot your own airship between islands, day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Over a million wishlists, no early access, and no asterisks. it’s just a complete game from a team of two.
Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker
TL;DR
Gentle Troll goes back 36 years in their D&D-flavoured tavern universe and makes nightmare prevention a matter of mixing the right drink.

- Release date: June 9, 2026
- Developer: Gentle Troll Entertainment
- Publisher: Gentle Troll Entertainment
- Platforms: Steam | Switch
Gentle Troll’s original Tavern Talk scored an 80 on Metacritic, impressive for a self-published D&D-flavoured visual novel. Dreamwalker is a standalone prequel set 36 years earlier, in a seaside tavern where you gather rumours, turn them into quests, and stave off an encroaching nightmare problem.
First playthrough clocks at least ten hours, and there are three different endings. That is a good value proposition for a visual novel.
Voidling Bound
TL;DR
Ex-Skylanders developers let you directly control alien creatures through third-person shooter combat and evolve them via branching DNA paths across corrupted planets

- Release date: June 9, 2026
- Developer: Hatchery Games
- Publisher: Hatchery Games
- Platforms: Steam
Hatchery Games, founded by former Skylanders developers, made something colourful, creature-forward, and kinetic. The hook is direct third-person control of your Voidlings in combat rather than watching them fight on your behalf, and evolution through branching paths that change their abilities and appearance.
Witchspire
TL;DR
Envar Games opens Early Access on a witch adventure where you summon forests when short on wood and send magical pickaxes to do the mining

- Release date: June 10, 2026 (Early Access)
- Developer: Envar Games
- Publisher: Envar Games
- Platforms: Steam
Witchspire enters Early Access Wednesday. You play as witches and wizards trying to stop a spreading darkness, but the spellwork is what makes it interesting: conjure a forest when you are short on wood, spirit-jump up ledges, or send magical pickaxes off to do the mining while you focus on something else.
Envar expects Early Access to last at least a year, but the initial version already includes two biomes, which for a Day One build is a reasonable starting point.
STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions
TL;DR
System Era takes Astroneer into co-op expedition format, gives you a space station and eccentric crew, and sends you across star systems on planet-wide objectives

- Release date: June 11, 2026 (Early Access)
- Developer: System Era Softworks
- Publisher: Devolver Digital
- Platforms: Steam | PS5 | Xbox | Switch 2
System Era Softworks built Astroneer into a game with eleven million players, then made a standalone co-op follow-up. STARSEEKER puts you on a space station, sends you on expeditions across multiple star systems, and ties everything to shared crew objectives.
Early Access hits Thursday on Steam, Xbox, PS5, and Switch 2, day one on Game Pass. Playtest progress from June 4 carries over, which is great if you already put some hours on it.
