When working digitally, the bigger the space, the better. To ensure artists have the best options, XPPen has announced two new tablets: the Artist Pro 24 (Gen 2) 4k and Artist Pro 24 (Gen 2) 165Hz.
Both tablets celebrate the 19th Anniversary milestone of XPPen and push the boundaries of digital art with Calman Verified color calibration, 16k Stylus pressure, high resolution, and sleek, lightweight builds. The 14k offers the same amazing features as the Artist Pro 19 (Gen 2) revealed earlier this year and the 165Hz model offers the fastest refresh rates currently available in the industry.
4k or 165 Hz? Which Drawing Monitor is Right For You?
In a YouTube video breakdown shared on the official XPPen channel, artists were given a breakdown of both Artist Pro 24 (Gen 2) options. Both tablets offer different perks at a price that is completely reasonable – Especially compared to options with similar dimensions from Wacom.
The Artist Pro 24 (Gen 2) 4k is the more expensive of the two options, retailing at $1299.99. This is currently the most expensive tablet available on the XPPen website. However, for the price, artists will get the 24-inch monitor, adjustable stand, two Styli (the X3 Pro Series), and ACK05 Shortcut Remote. It also comes with a protective drawing glove, and the best microfiber cloth for cleaning the screen.
The Artist Pro (Gen 2) 4k is a professional-grade tablet. This is for artists who are working daily, require high-quality color calibration, and need a combination of screen size and utility. It’s perfect for comic artists, animators, illustrators, and 3D artists.
The Artist Pro 24 (Gen 2) 165 Hz is slightly less expensive, retailing at $1099.99. This tablet trades 4k resolution for a ground-breaking refresh rate that is kind on the eyes, and optimal for animators and 3D artists. The 165Hz model comes with all the same accessories as the 4K, and boasts a 2560 x 1440 resolution, which while not 4k, will still deliver a crisp, clear, and colorful image when in use. This resolution matches the original Artist Pro 24 which has been the attention grabber of the brand since its release in 2020.
Those looking to try these tablets out can order then at a discount in celebration of their debut, and XPPen’s 19th Anniversary. This special offer will be available from October 22 through October 31, and will take 15% off each tablet’s retail price.
This isn’t a debut to miss, so be sure to check out XPPen’s website for more details.
