Does Witchbrook Have a Release Date?
No, Witchbrook doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet.

That said, the announcement trailer did promise a Winter 2025 release, and Chucklefish has stated the game is in the “homestretch” of development.
The best way to be ready for launch is to wishlist the game on Steam and follow the official socials for announcements.
When the release date drops, expect the Witchbrook College gates to swing open for PC and Switch first.
Witchbrook Bachelors and Romance Options
Your social life is just as important as your spellcasting. You’ll meet fellow witches in your Coven, professors, shopkeepers, and townsfolk, with several eligible for romance.

The first confirmed dateables are Hana Satō, a stylish and upbeat covenmate, and Eli Ivers, the charming campus newspaper editor.
Relationships build over time through conversations, quests, and shared experiences, so you’ll need to actually put in the effort if you want to woo someone.
More bachelors and bachelorettes will be revealed closer to launch, and each will have their own storylines, personalities, and reasons for being in Mossport.
Witchbrook Gameplay

At its core, Witchbrook is equal parts life-sim and magical academia. You’ll attend classes in Alchemy, Divination, and Arcane Arts, unlocking new spells and recipes as you pass exams and progress through semesters.
Outside the classroom, you can forage, run errands for townsfolk, and hand-deliver potions to clients. The world runs on a full day-night and seasonal cycle, so festivals, weather, and resources change naturally over time.

Mossport’s citizens have their own routines, meaning you can follow them around or catch them mid-task. There’s also four-player online co-op, so you can live out your magical college life with friends.
Witchbrook Setting
Mossport is a bustling seaside city inspired by Cambridge’s architecture and university-town atmosphere.

Witchbrook College sits at the heart of it, complete with sandstone buildings, stained glass windows, and hidden magical emblems scattered around campus.
You’ll cross bridges, wander medieval-style streets, and explore both student hangouts and mysterious older ruins. Seasonal events like the Tulip Festival change the city’s look, while shops, markets, and civic areas evolve with the calendar.

The surrounding countryside offers woodlands, farms, and foraging spots, making every corner worth exploring.
Witchbrook Trailer
