As the weather shifts towards fall, many of us are feeling even more drawn to cozy games than usual. And here at Bonus Action, that’s saying something. One of our cozy favorites is the productivity game Spirit City: Lofi Sessions. This delightful, cozy game from Mooncube Studios recently put out its second major DLC. But the devs didn’t stop there, and we now have a full roadmap for seasonal updates through the end of the year and beyond!
Today, the team behind Spirit City: Lofi Sessions unveiled a shiny new roadmap on social media. The Bluesky post outlines upcoming free updates for the Autumn and Winter seasons, along with a quick little sneak peek at what’s ahead in 2026. And my friends, there is some good stuff coming for fans of Spirit City.
Spirit City: Lofi Sessions Roadmap Previews Quality of Life Updates, Seasonal Treats, & More
The updated roadmap offers a ton of exciting things to look forward to in Spirit City. And we even have dates for the free seasonal updates, which will offer a mix of new features and new seasonal content.
First up, the Autumn Update isn’t far away. It will arrive on September 29th, bringing in several new features and some spooky season content. In total, Spirit City fans can look forward to:
- A new Local Music Importer feature
- Improvements to the to-do list functionality
- New Halloween skins for select Spirits
- The ability to customize colors on Halloween items
- New activities: Reading by the fireplace and painting at the desk
- A new Lofi Girl Halloween playlist
After that update arrives, there’s more to look forward to. The Witner Update is headed our way on November 17th. This, too, will add some new features and seasonal content – including a brand new Spirit! Here’s what’s included in the Winter Update for Spirit City:
- UI improvements
- Custom timer sounds (hurray!)
- A brand-new Spirit
- Dresses and new outfits
- Train backgrounds for the bedroom
- Update to avatar faces, with new face shapes & ears
- A new Lofi Girl Holiday Playlist

These two updates are looking great, but Mooncube didn’t leave us without a few teasers for what’s next. That schedule rounds out 2025 in Spirit City. But, the team is already looking ahead to more free updates and DLC coming in 2026. They’re also seriously looking into bringing Spirit City to the Nintendo Switch! This looks like it’s still very much a work in progress, but it’s exciting to see on the radar!
In all, the updated 2025 roadmap for Spirit City is looking good! I know I can’t wait to hear that new Halloween playlist, even if I still vibe to last year’s Homework Radio version on repeat.
