Batman and LEGO have been clicking together quite a bit this year, and now rumor has it that the Batmobile from the hit Batman: Arkham games is getting its own building set next year. Late last month, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight leaped onto the scene, retelling the classic saga of Bruce Wayne through LEGO-fied versions of plots, characters, and scenes from all manner of Batman media. The result was a fun tribute to DC’s famous defender of the night that also added a few new wrinkles to TT Games’ LEGO formula.
Some of these wrinkles stem from another great gaming series centered around Batman: Rocksteady’s seminal Batman: Arkham series. 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum rewrote the book on making video games featuring the Caped Crusader, and later installments would each build on the original’s success. In fact, Batman: Arkham developers Rocksteady and WB Games Montreal helped out on Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which also features characters and vehicles from 2015’s Batman: Arkham Knight as DLC.
LEGO Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Is Reportedly Coming In 2027
Now, Batman: Arkham fans might be able to add Arkham Knight‘s take on the Batmobile to their real-life LEGO collections, as Brick Tap recently shared a rumor that another Batman set is coming sometime in January 2027. According to their anonymous sources, this LEGO Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile set will be priced at $30, about the same cost as the Batman and Robin, The Batman, and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice sets that have been blasting on and off store shelves in recent months.
There’s currently no word on what all this set will have (and it’s still a rumor at this point), but one cloud expect that it will at least include a LEGO Batman min-figure to drive the Batmobile. We also don’t know if this Batmobile model can turn into a tank either.
It’s not just Batman: Arkham getting LEGO representation either, as Brick Tap also claims that a LEGO Batman Returns Batmobile Vs. The Duck set will also be released next January. This set will feature The Penguin’s “Duck Mobile” (which also appeared in Legacy of the Dark Knight), and is said to be priced at $60.
