When cafe management game Coffee Caravan launched in May 2024, players got to unlock recipes for two exciting worlds – Coffee World and Tea World. From the start, the devs made their update intentions known – one day, Ice Cream World would add frozen snacks to the mix.
Initially planned for late summer 2024, the Ice Cream World update got delayed so they could really perfect those tasty treats. Now, we’ve got the official release date!
Ice Cream World Update Arrives November 8, 2024
After a few teases showcasing the new ice cream recipes, Broccoli Games shared the release date news via Twitter/X.
The free Ice Cream world update for Coffee Caravan arrives on November 8. This game puts a twist on the restaurant management genre, with a map of challenges you complete as you work your way to the final “boss.” The Ice Cream World update will add a brand new map for players to explore and several ice cream recipes to unlock.
From the teasers, it looks like we’ll be making popsicles, bubble waffles, ice cream sandwiches, and of course, ice cream cones. They’ve also added cookie ice cream sandwiches, which was my personal response to their request for “must-have” items on the menu. They’re my favorite frozen treat, and I can’t wait to see what it takes to make them in the game!
All of the tasty treats look as adorable and delicious as we might expect from the art in Coffee World and Tea World. I know I can’t wait to dive in and uncover all the new kitchen devices and recipes!
Along with this new gameplay mode, Broccoli Games confirmed in a tweet response that they’re working on new Steam Achievements, too. If you love those little pop-ups, that’s great news!
