Those who have defended Lumiose City and entered the Infinite Z-A Royale aren’t done yet, as Pokémon Legends: Z-A is slotted to receive a story-expanding paid DLC just after the start of 2026. To get fans excited, a new update has been announced by The Pokémon Company, which will give additional details on the additional content.
Currently, only a small amount of information has been given about the paid DLC, including the reveal of Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y. If the DLC follows recent mainline expansions like Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, the true ending of the game could be locked behind the additional storyline.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimensions DLC November Update Date & Time
According to an announcement shared on the Pokémon official Twitter account, players can tune into the update on November 6, 2025, at 6 AM PT. At this time, it isn’t clear if this will be a social media update, trailer, or live video. There are no links included in the post.
The social media post reads, “Stay tuned for an update on #PokemonLegendsZA – Mega Dimension tomorrow at 6 AM PST!”
What We Know About Mega Dimensions
Currently, players looking to get information about Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimensions can check out the official website for the DLC.
Here, it is explained that following the completion of the main storyline, players will have to help Lumiose City as strange distortions begin appearing around the city. These distortions appear to be similar to the space-time distortions of Legends: Arceus, but are related to the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa.
It is also possible that characters that were missing from the main storyline may finally make an appearance.
Mega Dimensions Release Date & Cost
Pokémon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimensions DLC will release on December 10, 2025, as noted by the Nintendo Store page. The DLC will cost $29.99, making the total cost for the base game and extended content $100 total.
Unfortunately, due to the fact that Pokémon has locked main story conclusions behind paid DLC in recent games, those who want the full experience of the game will need to purchase the expansion. This has caused mixed reactions from fans, similar to the mixed feelings about Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Hopefully, the DLC will be worth the additional money required to access it.
