Grab your Keyblades, PC gamers, because Kingdom Hearts is coming to Steam! Square Enix announced the upcoming Steam release in style, with a cinematic trailer set to a new version of the beloved song “Simple and Clean.”
There are a few weeks to wait before the games will be available on Steam, but you can watch the trailer and get hyped right now. Let’s dive in to everything we know about Steam release of Kingdom Hearts so far, including when and where to watch the announcement trailer!

Where to Watch the Kingdom Hearts Steam Announcement Trailer
The Kingdom Hearts Steam trailer will premiere live on the official Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel on May 21 at 11 AM EST at the link below:
After the live premiere, the announcement trailer will be available for you to rewatch as many times as you like (or catch it later if the premiere timing doesn’t work for your schedule).
Per a post on X (formerly Twitter) from Kingdom Hearts Insider, we will also be able to download the newly released version of “Simple and Clean” that will play during the trailer. It releases as a single the following day, May 22. This song is synonymous with the series in the minds of many fans, so it makes perfect sense to get us hyped by releasing a new version alongside this Steam release trailer.
When is Kingdom Hearts Coming to Steam?
The Kingdom Hearts series will be available on Steam on June 13, 2024.
As of now, the games are not yet listed on Steam, but the description on the trailer video invites players to wishlist the game. It’s likely we’ll be able to do so shortly after the trailer’s live premiere.

This massive compilation features four complete games from the Kingdom Hearts series, plus a couple of video reminders about important events in between. Here’s everything you’ll get with this one on Steam:

- Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories
- Kingdom Hearts 258/2 Days (Cinematic Story)
- Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
- Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix
- Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded (Cinematic Story)
HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
This is an interesting mix of shorter games and cinematic storylines that flesh out the stories of Sora, Riku, and Aqua. Included in Final Chapter Prologue are:
- Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
- Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage (new Aqua story for this collection)
- Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover (Prequel Movie)
Kingdom Hearts III + ReMind
This collection features the conclusion to the Dark Seeker Saga, as well as a comprehensive reminder of past events in the series. It includes:
- Kingdom Hearts III
- ReMind DLC with story content and boss battle reminders from throughout the series
In addition to the individual titles, players will be able to buy the Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece bundle, which includes all three titles. Opting for this special bundle will also get you a new Steam-exclusive “Dead of Night” Keyblade. No word yet on its appearance or stats.
