Before we jump into the new release hype for November, let’s just have a quick moment of silence for the 2026 spooky reading season. Yes, I read witchy all year round, but October is my favorite time for seasonal reading. And now we’ve got to wait a whole year for it to come back around. But in the meantime, November is bringing in those winter holiday reads, along with plenty of cozy new books to curl up with as the weather turns colder.
This month, we’re leaning into those cozy fantasy vibes as sweater season (probably) arrives in my neck of the woods. But those winter and holiday-themed reads are coming in quick, so we’ve got a few of those lined up for the month, too. So whether you want a cozy fantasy, a steamy winter romance, or something for the holidays, our picks for November’s most anticipated new books have got you covered.

Prudence Marsh Is Not A Nobody Anymore by Emily Krempholtz

- Release Date: November 10th
- Price: $20 on Amazon
- Publisher: Ace
- ARC Received: Yes
One of my favorite reads last year was Violet Thistlewaite Is Not a Villain Anymore. So yeah, I’m pretty stoked to see that Krempholtz is returning with another installment in this series. And this time, we get to see Prudence finally live her dreams!
In Prudence Marsh Is Not A Nobody Anymore, Pru sets off to finally try and make her bard dreams a reality. But the journey is interrupted by the unexpected destruction of her beloved violin. Not ready to let the culprits out of her sight until they replace it, Pru finds herself tangled up in a very different adventure than she expected. Yes, please!
Fall for a Fairytale by Isabelle Taylor

- Release Date: November 10th
- Price: $20 on Amazon
- Publisher: Dell
- ARC Received: Yes
Speaking of Emily Krempholtz, this book may or may not have caught my eye because it’s got a blurb from the Prudence Marsh author herself. Add in the found family trope, some serious Anastasia vibes, and a flying pirate ship, and I’m sold. Plus, I’m pretty sure there’s a baby owlbear on the cover.
In Fall for a Fairytale, Chloe has no memory of who she once was. When she finally leaves the orphanage and heads on to seek her future, she runs across orc conman Jayce. He convinces her she just might be a long-lost princess. An adventure to pull off Jayce’s biggest con yet ensues, but their trip might bring some discoveries neither bargained for.
Too Cold for Comfort by Nisha J. Tuli

- Release Date: November 10th
- Price: $18.99 on Amazon
- Publisher: Forever
- ARC Received: Yes
I may not be ready for Halloween season to be over, but winter is indeed coming. And Too Cold for Comfort is my kind of winter read. I do love a good winter retreat after a bad breakup story, especially when it’s got a gruff wilderness lodge owner in the mix.
In Too Cold for Comfort, Aadya heads to Canada to snag a photo of a polar bear that just might make her career. But she finds herself stuck sharing the family wing of the lodge with its grumpy owner, who has taken none too kindly to her. When a snowstorm sends them into a forced proximity situation, things get steamy. And I am here for it.
New Life as a Max Level Archmage, Book 1 by ArcaneCadence

- Release Date: November 10th
- Price: $33.99 on Amazon
- Publisher: AETHON: Vault
- ARC Received: No
Okay, I admit it. I’ve finally caved to the Dungeon Crawler Carl hype. And clearly, so has traditional publishing, because the release calendar is packed with LitRPGs lately. This one caught my eye because it’s giving Frieren vibes for some reason, and frankly, that is the kind of girl power LitRPG energy I need in my life.
In New Life as a Max Level Archmage, a top-tier gamer wakes up inside the VRMMO she’s devoted hours of her life to. Suddenly, she’s not just playing the game: she’s a part of it. But the world she wakes up in isn’t the same game world she remembers, and the rules have changed. This story started as a wildly popular web series, now coming to print for the first time, and I will be there ready and waiting.
Two Can Play That Game by Zakiya N. Jamal

- Release Date: November 17th
- Price: $20 on Amazon
- Publisher: Berkley
- ARC Received: No
Normally, I’m not a big sports romance person. But if it’s a sapphic sports romance with my beloved fake dating trope, I could be into it. Especially if it’s a sport I actually played, if only for one short-lived season. So Two Can Play That Game definitely caught my eye among the list of new books headed our way this November.
Non-sports fan and influencer Chelsea winds up at a New York Rebels game, only to nearly get hit right in the face by a basketball. The player who saves her bacon just happens to have a problem that Chelsea might be able to fix: a bad reputation for being flighty in relationships. Soon, the two enter a pretend relationship to get the press off AD’s back… but it just might turn into something more.
