Our team at Bonus Action has a pretty wide range of beloved game genres. We’re here for the farming sims, the Metroidvanias, the visual novels, and the indie RPGs. But as for me? I’ve never met a cooking sim I didn’t at least add to my wishlist. I can’t get enough of a good cooking-centric game, and you’ll find me unlocking every recipe in any game with a cooking component. So it’s probably not too surprising that I look forward to Steam events like Cooking Fest every year. This is an opportunity for cooking-centric games to get a spotlight, and in many cases, sweeten the deal with a discount.
Steam events are getting more difficult to navigate, both due to the sheer number of games on the platform and the increased emphasis on personalized homepages. But after some poking around, I did finally manage to locate the Steam Cooking Fest 2026 landing page. And boy am I glad I did, because it’s a veritable feast of some of my favorite cooking games and plenty more I’m eager to try out. In total, nearly 1000 cooking sims and cooking-adjacent games are included in this year’s event. If that seems a little overwhelming, don’t worry. I’m here to serve up some recommendations for some of the best games to get on sale during the 2026 Steam Cooking Fest event.
Best Game Deals in the 2026 Steam Cooking Fest Event
I will fully admit that, in recent years, I’m guilty of buying cooking games on sale and then, um… not getting around to them. But is that going to stop me from clicking add to cart this year? Almost definitely not. Between the games topping my personal wishlist and tried-and-trusted favorites, here are a few deals that my fellow cooking game enthusiasts won’t want to pass up.
KuloNiku: Bowl Up!

Price: $7.19 / $11.99 (40% off)
Steam Deck: Verified
KuloNiku: Bowl Up! is a cooking sim and restaurant management game that’s been at the top of my “must-play” list since it was released earlier this year. With adorable 3D graphics that showcase cute characters and delicious food, it looks like exactly my kind of game. And you don’t have to take my word for it, either. Since its release in April, the game has achieved the coveted Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam.
Along with its cooking simulation elements, KuloNiku offers a narrative element where you help out the locals and build your friendships. You’ll also be able to customize and decorate your restaurant. If that sounds as good to you as it does to me, you can snag this cooking sim for 40% off on Steam during the Cooking Fest sale. The game’s free demo is still live, as well, so you can try it out before you commit.
Coffee Caravan

Price: $7.19 / $11.99 (40% off)
Steam Deck: Verified
Remember when basically every new game took place in a caravan? Well, we loved that trend here at Bonus Action. Coffee Caravan is a fun twist on the cooking management sim. You work your way through a branching tree of unique levels, with the goal of making it all the way to the final boss customer. Along the way, you choose between different upgrade options and challenges as you grow your caravan’s offerings. The road trip-style map makes each gameplay experience unique in and of itself, but the game also offers several unique “worlds” where you’ll focus on serving tea, coffee, or ice cream.
Coffee Caravan is one of those games with pretty solid replay potential. But even if you’re only out to unlock every recipe, you’re going to have a good time with this one. It’s the right mix of challenging management sim and cozy graphics that help you feel relaxed even as you try to beat the clock. And during the 2026 Cooking Fest event, Coffee Caravan is 40% off on Steam.
Galaxy Burger

Price: $5.87 / $11.99 (51% off)
Steam Deck: Playable
Billed as a “stress-free cooking game” where you serve up burgers in outer space, Galaxy Burger has been in my Steam library for quite some time. It’s got solo gameplay or co-op for up to 8 players, making it a great option for solo gamers or your long-distance game night. And with over 1,300 reviews, it’s sitting solidly at Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam. In other words, if you’re here to serve up burgers alone or with friends, Galaxy Burger should probably be on your list.
From the looks of it, Galaxy Burger‘s graphics have a light pixel art touch that makes them absolutely mouthwatering. And yes, you can stack your burgers absurdly high while serving aliens and space cats. During the Steam Cooking Fest event, Galaxy Burger is 51% off, making it just about $6 USD. Sounds like a great deal to me.
Kitchen Sync: Aloha!

Price: $9.99 / $19.99 (50% off)
Steam Deck: Verified
Is this recommendation list also kind of a tour of my unplayed library of highly anticipated Steam cooking games? Yes, yes it is. Kitchen Sync: Aloha! caught my eye because of its pitch as a “cozy, story-driven cooking RPG.” That means there’s a bit of a visual novel, plot-driven element to this one along with the fun of running and leveling up your restaurant. Did I mention there’s also romance? It’s not hard to see why this one has a Very Positive rating on Steam.
If you, like me, haven’t yet managed to spend time with Kitchen Sync: Aloha! now is your sign. The game is a solid 50% off during the Cooking Fest event, making it just $10 to add to your Steam library. As for me? Well, this is a reminder that it’s high time I actually dove into this one instead of letting it live in my library of shame.
Rolling Hills: Cozy Sushi Restaurant

Price: $4.49 / $14.99 (70% off)
Steam Deck: Verified
It’s no secret we love Sushi Bot here at Bonus Action! I had the pleasure of not only playing this game when it came out, but also interviewing the developers. While it is definitely a bit more management sim and narrative-heavy than cooking-driven, you do get to unlock a ton of great sushi recipes. And the story is incredibly cute and heartwarming to boot.
Rolling Hills: Cozy Sushi Restaurant is a delightful cozy game with just enough chaos to keep things interesting. The 3D graphics are adorable, and it’s hard not to fall in love with Sushi Bot. Did I mention you can wear little hats? This delight of a cooking management sim is 70% off during the Steam Cooking Fest event, making it a perfect time to take your Sushi Bot adventure.
Kokoro Kitchen

Price: $2.99 / $11.99 (75% off)
Steam Deck: Playable
When I first saw the art style and gameplay loop for Kokoro Kitchen, I called it Lemon Cake but with savory recipes. And honestly? That pretty much holds up from my experience playing the game. It’s got a similar farm-to-table vibe, where you’ll create and harvest your ingredients before preparing recipes for the mysterious spirit locals. Along the way, you’ll unlock more Japanese dishes to expand your menu, while also restoring the restaurant to its former glory.
Kokoro Kitchen is a fun restaurant management sim, with plenty to keep you busy harvesting and preparing ingredients, serving up dishes, and unlocking new features. It’s got adorable 3D graphics and a slight supernatural feel thanks to your ghostly customers. It’s currently celebrating its 1st anniversary with an impressive 75% discount during the Cooking Fest event.
PlateUp!

Price: $1.99 / $19.99 (90% off)
Steam Deck: Verified
If you like your cooking games with a side of chaos, à la Overcooked, you need PlateUp! in your life. I have sunk so many hours into this game and can confirm it’s every bit as fun solo as it is in co-op. With a sort of roguelite approach, you select a restaurant layout and a base menu. Then, your goal is to serve your customers without them storming out. At the end of each day, you get a new upgrade card to choose from. The longer you make it, the more challenges and resources you’ve stacked up, so no two runs are the same.
I adore PlateUp! and think it was worth every penny I spent on it. But for just $2? Honestly, you can’t afford not to grab this one while it’s on sale. It’s happening, and Yogscast also just announced that the game is running a brand-new Halloween event this year, which will serve up new Trick cards that add even more chaos to the game. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to have to boot this one back up for a few rounds.
Still here? Good.
