It’s October, and that means many of us are eagerly diving into all things spooky. For us here at Bonus Action, that typically means witchy games like Little Witch in the Woods or REKA. But we’re counting down the days until the latest witchy release we can’t wait to play: The Witch’s Bakery. This hand-drawn bakery adventure game releases for PC via Steam, PS5, Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S on October 14th. Now, just under a week before launch, The Witch’s Bakery has revealed it’s teaming up with Crunchyroll to bring the cozy game to mobile.
Sunny Lab and Silver Lining Interactive are joining forces with the beloved anime streaming platform Crunchyroll for a mobile port of The Witch’s Bakery. Along with its massive anime streaming library, Crunchyroll offers a Game Vault library of exclusive mobile games for its subscribers. And there’s plenty there for cozy gamers to enjoy, including a mobile port of the highly popular Moonstone Island. Now, The Witch’s Bakery will join the lineup with a Crunchyroll subscriber-exclusive mobile port. Along with that announcement, Sunny Lab has dropped a brand-new trailer for the game, which offers both a reminder of the game’s core premise and some new late-game content previews.
New The Witch’s Bakery Trailer Confirms Mobile Version & Shows Off Some Late-Game Surprises

The Witch’s Bakery might sound like a restaurant management sim, and it does include baking up and serving pastries to your guests. But it’s also a 2D adventure, where you’ll explore the city of Paris, helping the locals solve their problems through your unique heart-centric magic. The gameplay loop features 3 phases, with unique activities available during the day, in the evening, and at night.
After a brief delay earlier this year, the game is finally gearing up for its October 14th launch date. And honestly? What’s more perfect than a witchy game releasing in October? The latest trailer shows off more of what your exploration and attempts to heal the hearts of Paris entail. We get another look at the bakery, the streets of Paris, and a very mysterious new location. You can check out the Crunchyroll Game Vault trailer for The Witch’s Bakery below:
As you can see, The Witch’s Bakery has a charming art style complete with plenty of delicious-looking in-game pastries. And now, we’ve got a better look at what it truly means to explore the darkness lurking within people’s hearts to help them heal through the power of bread.
The game releases on previously announced platforms on October 14th for a base price of $19.99 USD. At launch, players can snag the game with a 10% discount on all digital storefronts. The mobile version of The Witch’s Bakery will be available exclusively via the Crunchyroll Game Vault, with a release date still to be determined. To access the game vault, you’ll need to be a Mega or Ultimate Fan subscriber.
