How to watch Metaphor: ReFantazio August 2024 Livestream

If you’re counting down the days until Metaphor: ReFantazio launches, you’ll be happy to hear there’s one more live stream to watch before the game releases.

Think of ATLUS’ next baby as the love child of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, with a little Final Fantasy V magic sprinkled in for good measure. It’s a mix of turn-based and real-time combat, job systems that will have you switching roles, and a fantasy world with just enough modern flair to keep things interesting.

In late August 2024, Studio Zero’s head, Katsura Hashino – the brain behind the Persona series – is going live to spill all the tea about the United Kingdom of Euchronia. That’s the over-the-top, alternative England where Metaphor: ReFantazio is set.

On Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 5 AM PT (that’s 8 AM ET for you East Coasters, ATLUS is giving us an early morning treat on their ATLUS West YouTube channel and Steam.

During the Metaphor: ReFantazio livestream, you’ll hear about sword-riding skateboards and odd calendar systems, but mostly, Katsura Hashino will show off the United Kingdom of Euchronia. This is the perfect opportunity to see another in-depth look at the world new adventures will take place in.

Don’t worry if your Japanese is a bit rusty – this livestream is coming at you with English subtitles and dubbed audio, so you won’t miss a single bit of the magic.

This event will not be available for replay immediately but will be added to the livestream YouTube tab at a later point for anyone who misses out. However, If the previous showcases and livestreams are any indication, you won’t want to be the last person to find out about the bizarre, fantastical elements of this game. Be sure to jump in at the above timeframe to get on top of new information immediately.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is out on October 11, 2024, but if you don’t feel like waiting, pre-orders are live for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, as well as a fancy Collector’s Edition. You should also take a look at the English voice cast announcement, which is filled with some excellent talent.
