Developer ATLUS has officially announced the full English voice cast for its upcoming fantasy JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio. The talent behind every main character players will interact with, which you can see in a full list below, including the protagonist, is available for you to trawl through on IMDB so you can see what else they’ve been in and which silky smooth speaker you’re looking forward to hearing the most.
That’s not all, though. In addition to the list of English voice actors, ATLUS also confirmed that Metaphor: ReFantazio will be part of the Xbox @ Gamescom 2024 showcase on August 23, 2024. This will differ massively from previous showcases because the event will host one of the voice cast alongside some brand new, never-before-seen footage of the title.
Don’t Miss Out on More Metaphor: ReFantazio From Gamescom 2024
First, let’s get the voice talent out of the way. Below is a list of every confirmed English voice actor for Metaphor: ReFantazio and the characters they play.
- Protagonist – Caleb Yen
- Strohl – Stewart Clarke
- Hulkenberg – Kristin Atherton
- Gallica – Alejandra Reynoso
- Heismay – Phillipe Spall
- Junah – Emma Ballantine
- Eupha – Emily Burnett
- Neuras – David Monteith
- Louis – Joseph Tweedale
- More – Greg Chun
- Grius – Gordon Cooper
While he only had a small role in Horizon Forbidden West, it was a memorable one that stands out among the game’s dozens of audio logs, so I’m excited to hear more from him in this game. I’m also shocked that Kristin Atherton, who plays an outstanding character in the Outlander TV show, is lending her talent to the title.
Strohl and Hulkenberg’s voice actors Stewart Clarke and Kristin Atherton will appear in the Xbox @ Gamescom 2024 showcase for a Q&A which you can watch in the video above once it goes live. They’re set to give an insight into the recording process, which should be quite interesting given ATLUS is a Japan-based game developer.
Following the livestream, a demo of Metaphor: ReFantazio will be available to everyone attending Gamescom, so anyone physically attending the event can get hands-on with it before any of us do on October 11, 2024.
