Arron is introduced to you by his own ancestor, a towering Dragon Knight who describes him, to his face, as a feeble wight in no wise hardy.
He stammers through his own introduction, apologises for taking up your time, and hides in the library reading about knights braver than him. He is also the only knight in Sovereign Tower who can be replaced, mid-save, with a completely different person wearing the same face.
Here is everything on him, and what the dragonheart actually does.

How to Unlock Arron
Arron joins in Act 1, immediately after you defeat the game’s first major boss, the Dragon Knight.
The Dragon Knight himself walks into your court and presents Arron as his own great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson, expressing the hope that beneath your roof the boy shall at last become a true man, then withdraws.
Arron, barely daring to look at you, asks you to make him a great knight.
If you decline or miss it, he becomes a standard 10 fund Map Room invitation.
Interactions
One-Heart Event (Standard)
Arron flinches before you, less dragon and more frightened hatchling, stammering that he was planning to come and see you, if it was possible, and if it was not too much trouble. Kindness is mechanically the correct play with him, and the game rewards it immediately.
Dialogue Choices:
- Respond to the nerves,
- “You’re a knight, speak with confidence.” (A-Ah! Um, yes, Your Highness, I-I’ll try. I promise. He does not know if he can do it, but he will do his best.)
- “Of course, I’m listening.” (+1 affinity) (Oh. I, thank you, Your Highness. Then, quietly: he’ll have already been yelled at fifty times by the end of the day.)
Dialogue Choices:
- Respond to his hero worship,
- “Anyone can be a hero.” (A-anyone, like, me too? T-to be honest, he doubts it. He doesn’t have Grandpa’s stature.)
- “History is what makes heroes.” (W-what? He doesn’t think capes change anything, do they?)
- “Not all heroes wear capes like your forefather.” (O-oh. Y-you’re right. The heroes never proclaimed themselves as such, he supposes.)
Two-Heart Event (Standard)
You find Drakovic’s heir in a remote corner of the library, poring over ancient scrolls. This scene has two menus and the second one is the emotional core of his standard path, because he is genuinely asking you to define the thing he has failed at his whole life.
Dialogue Choices:
- Tell him what you are looking for,
- “Stories about the former knights of this Tower.” (+1 affinity) (Yes! The knights of old! Their exploits are recounted in numerous history books. Like the story of Melior the traitor, the strongest knight to have ever lived. Or Dagon the Red, the first dragon knight, who left the Empire to serve Herod and founded Drakovic.)
- “A guide to increasing self-confidence.” (-1 affinity) (Y-you too? Oh, for him, he supposes. He deflates immediately.)
- “I’m actually lost.” (Oh, he d-didn’t think the Sovereign could get lost in their own Tower. That’s, how to say, it demystifies you a bit.)
Dialogue Choices:
- Four answers, and two of them cost you,
- “It’s about finding that glimmer of hope when all seems lost.” (+1 affinity) (You mean being able to push our limits, or overcome our fears in any situation? I-I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to.)
- “It’s having a lot of muscles.” (-1 affinity) (Um, really? I mean, even at our Round Table some aren’t exactly… B-but he’ll try to build up some muscles.)
- “It’s the art of embellishing situations.” (-1 affinity) (O-oh, but heroes like the ones history tells us about don’t l-lie. He can’t imagine doing that.)
- “It’s about being the right person, in the right place, at the right time.” (+1 affinity) (O-oh. He supposes one can only shine when the stars truly align. He understands the answer isn’t that simple, and that it’s probably different for everyone. He will think on it further during his next missions.)
One-Heart Event (Dragonheart)
This scene replaces the standard version entirely once Arron has taken the dragonheart, and the contrast is the entire point of his arc. An irritated voice cuts across the training ground complaining the dummies are an insult and demanding a real opponent.
Dialogue Choices:
- Handle the new Arron,
- “Fancy some fresh blood?” (+1 affinity) (EXACTLY. Glad you understand him.)
- “Calm down.” (-1 affinity) (I do whatever I want. If you don’t like it, I’ll go elsewhere.)
Two-Heart Event (Dragonheart)
Arron rolls a small glass container between his fingers, creating a soft tinkling sound. This scene is the game being extremely pointed about what the Dragonheart has actually done to him, and it is the only place where refusing to enable him is punished.
Dialogue Choices:
- Ask about the container,
- “What is that?” (You don’t know about it? These pills build muscle in no time. Normally it’s one per week, but one per day is even better. His eyes look you up and down with disdain.)
- “I was just feeling a bit peckish. Being a ruler is hungry work.” (-1 affinity) (You are literally just sitting all day long, he says.)
Dialogue Choices:
- Respond to the regime,
- “Are you sure this is good for your body or your mind?” (-1 affinity) (I AM NO LONGER THE PITIFUL CHILD YOU ONCE KNEW. I’m ashamed of the weakling I have been. Now, I’m different. Better. Stronger.)
- “Why are you loitering here, then? Get back to training. And quickly.” (+1 affinity) (AHAHAHA. Right away, Your Highness. I promise you’ll never regret taking me under your wing. He downs a few tablets and vanishes from the kitchen, evidently embracing this transformation he considers his rebirth.)
- “Do you want to become a carbon copy of your Grandfather?” (L-like, the old man? Ahahaha, nothing to do with him. He’s broken and useless. He couldn’t even beat your knights. I have no interest in being an imitation of that disappointment.)
Three-Heart Event (Baby Dragon)
Seated in the great library, the Drakovic heir is joyfully recounting tales of ancient Sovereigns to a little dragon curled up on his lap. You watch for a few moments before the tiny dragon turns its two small pupils towards you and gives you away.
Dialogue Choices:
- Ask about the dragon,
- “You haven’t given it a name yet?” (+1 affinity) (Oh, I, not yet. He wants to take his time, that’s important, don’t you think? For now, it will be “cute little dragon”.)
- “To that spawn of hell?” (-1 affinity) (O-oh. The baby dragon’s tail whips the air in discontent. H-he’s not evil or something, you know. W-well, as long as he’s eaten, I-I guess. Haha.)
- “…To?” (G-good question. He wants to find him a name that reflects his inner strength. He’s small, but he’ll grow strong. Well, when he says strong, he doesn’t necessarily mean physical strength.)
Dialogue Choices:
- Tell him what you think,
- “It is not physical strength that makes you a hero. You’re taking care of a dragon.” (+1 affinity) (The tiny dragon stretches out to its full length, feeling safe alongside Arron. Y-yes, he says, even though he hasn’t done much yet. Then, quietly: thank you, Y-Your Highness.)
- “I suppose my slight hope of making something of you was misplaced.” (-1 affinity) (The tiny dragon straightens up slightly, as if annoyed by your words. I-I’m sorry I can’t meet your expectations, but I do not regret my choices.)
- “Be who you want to be.” (+1 affinity) (The tiny dragon curls up on the lap of Drakovic’s heir with complete trust. O-ohh, he’s so adorable, look. Know that your words are, I mean, it touches me.)
Should You Give Arron the Dragon Heart for the Ritual?
When you acquire the dragon heart relic in Sovereign Tower, Arron will ask to perform the dragon heart ritual.
If you agree, he’ll come back hardened, with better stats but a completely different personality. Even his favourite meals change, from Crêpe and Brizhian Butter Shortbread to Galette Saucisse and Lion’s Taco, because the gentler things stop appealing to him.
If you disagree, he’ll stay the same, a shy knight that his ancestors look down on. That said, by adopting a baby dragon at the end of the questline about the Magic Circle, you’ll get a third, different ending for him.
And that’s it! For more information on how to appease the knights in Sovereign Tower, check out our meal prep guide.
Still here? Good.
