By the time you step into Ellie’s story in Little Witch in the Woods, she’s graduated from magic school. But even if Ellie has a vast amount of knowledge about witchcraft, she’s got a lot to learn. And as the player, so do you! That includes filling up your encyclopedia with new potion and candy recipes to help open up the world and progress the story. Many potions and candies are essential for completing quest objectives, which means you’ll need to track down those recipes ASAP. How to Use Scrolls to Learn Recipes
Just getting a scroll won’t be enough to unlock a candy or potion recipe. Once you find a scroll or earn one by completing a quest, there’s one more step. Open up your inventory and use the scroll. This will add the recipe to your encyclopedia, where you can easily review the required ingredients. Once you do this, the candy or potion recipe will also show up as an option at the cauldron.
All Potion Recipes & How to Get Them
Here are the potion recipes we’ve found in Little Witch in the Woods and how you can unlock them. Potions are often required to progress the main story quests, but many of them also have uses for navigating the world or collecting certain ingredients. Note that certain recipes are limited use, meaning they will be available for a specific quest, but will not be easily made again.
All Candy Recipes & How to Get Them
Like potions, candies are brewed in your cauldron once you’ve unlocked the recipe and secured the ingredients. While potions are often used to gather ingredients, candies are primarily sold to vendors to earn Luna Coin and Gold Coins, rather than used for other in-game purposes. Still, they can be quite useful when you need to make some quick cash!
