My Little Life is a new addition to the genre, letting you recreate the life sim experience at the bottom of your screen.
It’s a cozy game with nostalgic pixel art and calming music, and you’ll be able to level up the lives of several different little humans as you play. Clearly, we’re not the only ones who love it, as this little game from a solo dev has hit some impressive milestones in its first week.
My Little Life Hits Steam’s “Hot Releases” List Even with Sims Remaster Competition
When 9FingerGames chose January 31 for the release of My Little Life, they couldn’t have anticipated that one of the biggest life sims in the business would steal the date. But that’s exactly what happened, as The Sims announced the re-release of the original The Sims and The Sims 2 on, you guessed it, January 31. Thankfully, that competition from a nostalgic classic didn’t stop My Little Life from finding its audience.
About a week after the launch of My Little Life, it’s developer shared an exciting update on X. The game has already passed 20,000 downloads! That’s no surprise for those who like to keep an eye on the Steam charts for popular games. My Little Life has made its way to the Rising and Hot charts on Steam, showing up right alongside the Sims remakes. In fact, as I’m writing this My Little Life actually has more concurrent player sessions than The Sims Legacy Collection.
