Tales from Toyotoki Arrival of the Witch Release Date Announced

INDIE Live Expo Awards nominee Tales from Toyotoki Arrival of the Witch finally has a release date for an English localization, and much sooner than fans originally expected. Grab your wallets and get ready for this mystery visual novel.

Tales from Toyotoki Arrival of the Witch follows Hikaru, who finds himself homeless on an unfamiliar island. There he meets a witch who is in a similar situation. Together, along with the friends they make through their journey, they unravel the mystery of Toyotoki Island while experiencing their own coming-of-age story.

Tales from Toyotoki Arrival of the Witch Release Date

Aksys Games has announced that Tales from Toyotoki Arrival of the Witch will be released on August 22nd for the Nintendo Switch and the PS5. This highly anticipated game has received high ratings in its original Japanese language.

The game is currently available on Steam, and it is presently under the name The Witch of the Ihanashi which is its original title. However, it is only available to play in Japanese. To bring the Steam version up to date alongside select consoles following the English release, a localization update will be released for Steam this fall.

Despite the original game being available on the PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S, only the PC, Nintendo Switch, and PS5 have been announced to get the English version of the game.

The game will include the following features.

• a coming-of-age story about overcoming hardships and finding yourself
• includes DLC & behind-the-scenes commentary from the creative team
• unravel a mystery stretching back hundreds of years
• Beautiful character art and music

Per Aksys Games, the game has yet to be rated under the ESRB.

Players will be able to pre-order a physical copy of Tales from Toyotoki Arrival of the Witch on the Aksys Games website.
