Spirit City: Lofi Sessions Free Halloween Update Adds Magic to Productivity Gaming

Gamified productivity tool Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is a personal favorite release from this past year. This game lets you create a cozy space and avatar to hang out and work alongside you, to the sound of curated Lofi playlists.

Spirit City: Lofi Sessions – Now With 100% More Witchy Vibes

As I write this, I’m enjoying the new Spooky Melodies Lofi playlist that dropped with the free update to Spirit City. The free update launched today, October 9. It brings over 200 new spooky season clothing and decor items.

Not only that, but we have a new Halloween spirit to track down during our productivity sessions. I always love a new entry in the Spirit Dex, so I can’t wait to figure out what activity will attract Hexwing.

The update will truly you let you craft the witchy lair of your dreams in-game. Decor items include lace curtains in several colors, plenty of eerie candles to hang around your space, cauldrons, and more. Your avatar can wear many Halloween-themed items, including several different witch hat designs, Halloween slippers, and more.

Oh, and you can even change your window background to suit the seasonal mood. I went with an eerie castle and giant crescent moon, because of course I did.

On top of all that, several of the Spirit Companions got new colors to match the Halloween vibes. Not every spirit got a makeover, but the dog did, and that’s all this witchy dog mom needed in her life. Don’t worry, cat people – Lenny the three-eyed cat can also don its witchy best with an adorable hat.
