Many games, including the recently released Sugardew Island, have a shopkeeping component, but few truly focus on the joy of tending to your tiny store. Thankfully, more developers are leaning into this streamlined approach, trimming away the farming aspects for those who just want a solid shopkeeping sim.

This includes indie developer Scoreboardgames, who just revealed their upcoming game, Tiny Shop. This new casual management game lets players customize and oversee their own small shop with a chill gameplay loop and adorable art style that certainly caught our attention here at Bonus Action.

We love to see a game that offers plenty of creative freedom and relaxing, stress-free gameplay that truly meets the definition of “cozy.” From what we’ve seen so far, Tiny Shop looks poised to fit the bill. There’s no specific release date just yet, but the game is looking at a Q1 2026 release window. Tiny Shop will release for PC and Nintendo Switch.
