If you were jealous that Seattle-based Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans got to enjoy an aquarium experience themed around the game, we’ve got good news! The aquarium experience will soon be a full-fledged national tour, with stops all around the U.S.
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Aquarium Tour includes fun, interactive activities with Animal Crossing characters and educational experiences centered on aquatic life. Now, more fans across the U.S. will be able to enjoy this unique gaming-meets-aquarium extravaganza.
What is the Animal Crossing Aquarium Tour Experience?
As the Animal Crossing: New Horizons tour makes its way to aquariums across the country, here’s what you can expect to see at your local exhibit:
- Photo ops with characters from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, set against aquarium backgrounds
- Themed signage throughout the aquarium, featuring Blathers giving descriptions of various sea creatures
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons character standees throughout the aquarium
- Special My Nintendo kiosks where you can check in to earn 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points
- Potential meet-and-greets with the characters from the game, including Isabelle, K.K. Slider, or the capitalist everyone loves to hate, Tom Nook

Tickets for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons aquarium tour will be available through each participating aquarium’s website. The experience is included along with general admission, so you won’t need to pay extra to enjoy the cozy gaming-themed fun.
