The PC Gaming Show aired on June 7, 2026, as part of Summer Game Fest 2026 and brought over 50 games across the full spectrum of indie and mid-size PC releases. From vampire espionage to castle-defense roguelites to a sledgehammer as therapy, here are the five that stuck with us.
Red Kiss
TL;DR
Wispfire makes a vampire espionage RPG set in 1989 Berlin where your master is called Daddy and the chance system works like a roulette wheel

- Release date: TBA
- Developer: Wispfire
- Publisher: Fellow Traveller
- Platforms: Steam
Wispfire announced Red Kiss as the PC Gaming Show world premiere. You play as an Augur, a newly turned vampire who telepathically directs a network of agents across Berlin’s underground rail network in 1989, for a house of vampire spies. The chance system uses a roulette wheel rather than dice, which is a fun choice.
The master you answer to is named Daddy. Fellow Traveller is publishing, which means the writing will be taken seriously.
Cassette Beasts 2002
TL;DR
Bytten Studio takes the best creature collector since Pokemon’s golden era to London in 2002, with 250 beasts and a mysterious occultist to stop

- Release date: TBA
- Developer: Bytten Studio
- Publisher: Raw Fury
- Platforms: Steam | PS5 | Xbox | Switch 2
The original Cassette Beasts is one of those games people feel personally responsible for evangelising. Bytten Studio’s answer is to go bigger: London in 2002, fully 3D environments, online multiplayer, and over 250 beasts to record and fuse. Plus, the fusion system, where any two monsters combine into something new, is back.
No release date yet, but the trailer has new music, and it is very good. This is going to swallow people whole… it is me. I am the people.
Virtue and a Sledgehammer
TL;DR
Deconstructeam sends you home with a sledgehammer because talking about your feelings only gets you so far
Psst! Click this image to get a TL;DR
- Release date: 2026
- Developer: Deconstructeam, Selkie Harbour
- Publisher: Devolver Digital
- Platforms: Steam
Deconstructeam made The Red Strings Club and The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, games that treat emotional damage as something worth examining carefully.
Virtue and a Sledgehammer is the same instinct with a much larger tool: your hometown is populated by android ghosts, and you smash through walls to make paths and unearth memories.
A demo dropped at the show, and the new trailer asks “how often do you masturbate?” which is exactly the energy I want from Deconstructeam.
Vampire: The Masquerade — Eternal Whispers
TL;DR
A narrative CRPG with Disco Elysium dialogue bones, set in a Montreal drenched in vampiric politics and personal horror that is entirely your fault
Psst! Click this image to get a TL;DR
- Release date: TBA
- Developer: Flyos
- Publisher: Kwalee
- Platforms: Steam
The trailer showed a Disco Elysium-style vertical dialogue box scrolling down the screen and I immediately sat up straighter. Flyos is a Canadian studio, set in dark-modern Montreal full of political intrigue, and you wake from decades of torpor into a Vampire: The Masquerade world that has moved on without you.
World premiere, no release date, and very little detail, but it’s also one of the most exciting announcements from the whole show for me, which tells you something.
ReVamp
TL;DR
Digital Sun gives you Dracula’s castle, waves of mortal invaders, 40 minion types, and the option to step into battle when your defenses fail
Psst! Click this image to get a TL;DR
- Release date: TBA
- Developer: Digital Sun
- Publisher: Digital Sun
- Platforms: Steam
Digital Sun made Moonlighter, about a shopkeeper secretly doing dungeon runs at night. ReVamp inverts that entirely: you are Dracula, building your castle room by room, deploying over 40 minion types against mortal invaders, and stepping in personally when the defenses crack.
The art style looks like modern Castlevania filtered through Digital Sun. No release date yet, but community playtests via Discord are coming.
