Storage can be a bit of a pickle when first getting started in Moonlight Peaks. In true farming sim fashion, you are outfitted with a backpack that offers a finite amount of room for storage while exploring. Unfortunately, those slots fill up quickly when mining and farming. Thankfully, there is a way to upgrade your bag early on in your adventure.
At this time, we have found two bag upgrades included in the game. In this guide, we will go over how to get both bag upgrades in Moonlight Peaks and how much each will cost.
Where to Find the Bag Upgrade in Moonlight Peaks

The bag upgrade can be found in the Webb of Wonders shop run by Sabrina in town. Players will need to visit the shop between 19:00 and 00:00 on a weekday and interact with Sabrina at the counter to access the store. The upgrade will appear under the blueprints and upgrades menu.
This upgrade can be accessed as early as Spring 1 Year 1, but it can be a bit pricey when first getting started. That said, we recommend getting it no later than Summer of Year 1.
How to Get the First Bag Upgrade in Moonlight Peaks

Thankfully, the bag upgrade doesn’t require extra materials and will only cost the player 2,000G. No quests are required to access it, and the upgrade is applied immediately once purchased. The upgrade adds 10 additional slots to the bag inventory for a total of 30 slots.
Unfortunately, the second bag upgrade is quite expensive and takes a while to unlock. Because of this, players will need to regularly empty their inventory into the storage at their homes before heading out to gather items during the day. While the additional slots help balance storage, another set of 10 slots would be beneficial for late-game exploration.
How to Unlock the Second Bag Upgrade in Moonlight Peaks

Once you have progressed far enough in the story, you will gain access to buy the Inventory Upgrade II. This will show up in the Tools slot where you bought the first upgrade. It gives you another 10 inventory slots in your bag. To purchase it, simply save up a staggering 20,000G.
After buying the upgrade, you will have a total of 40 slots in your bag inventory. This goes a long way to help in your explorations, but don’t forget to use your house’s unlimited storage as needed.
