Rei can be found around Luna Bay, your Farm, the Ambrosia Area. Below are Rei’s heart events and what to expect from each one.
One-Heart Event
To trigger Rei’s one heart event, head to Luna Bay after reaching one heart.
Kim has taken Rei’s favorite earrings without asking, and Rei is upset but unsure how to confront her about it. Help Rei figure out the situation and encourage him to communicate his feelings to his sister.
Two-Heart Event
To trigger Rei’s two heart event, head to Luna Bay after reaching two hearts.
Rei is frustrated that he’s the only one in his family who seems to care about pollution along the shore. He asks for help cleaning up trash. Pitch in without complaint and validate his frustration.
Three-Heart Event
To trigger Rei’s three heart event, head to your Farm after reaching three hearts.
Rei shows up at your farm on a rainy morning with homemade cupcakes to thank you for helping earlier. Be appreciative, acknowledge the effort, and agree when he suggests making it a regular thing.
Four-Heart Event
Rei’s one romantic heart event takes place in the Ambrosia Area after reaching the one romantic heart level.
Rei brings you to a quiet spot he visits when he needs to think. He opens up about hiding parts of himself from people and confesses that he feels safe around you. Listen, be patient, and affirm that you value who he really is.
Six-Heart Event
Rei’s two romantic heart event takes place in the Forest after reaching the two romantic heart level.
Rei is searching the forest for a rare herb tied to a memory of his grandmother’s coral garden. Help him look, and be supportive when the search gets frustrating. Show that you care about the things he cares about.
After reaching Heart Level Three in Moonlight Peaks, you will be able to hug Rei, and starting from Heart Level Four, you can ask her out on dates, which also enables kissing. It is possible to lose hearts by doing badly on dates or giving hated presents.
