Elvira is the Ambrosia family member most likely to be found mid-pet project in Moonlight Peaks, usually at the cost of whatever vampire duties her uncle Orlock actually wanted her to do.
Elvira is a big fan of milkshakes, in almost every flavor, plus gold and diamonds. She lights up around people who actually engage with whatever she’s currently obsessed with, and loses interest fast around anyone who treats her projects as a phase. She knows the whole family dynamic around her uncle Orlock is a lot, and she’d rather make a joke about it than get pulled into the drama directly.
She’s looking for someone who’ll actually stick around long enough to see where one of them goes. In this guide, we’ll break down all of Elvira’s gift preferences, her heart events, and the best answers for each encounter.

All Heart Events For Elvira in Moonlight Peaks
Elvira’s usually wherever the town’s current pet project is happening. Below are Elvira’s heart events and the conversations you can have with her. We have bolded the best answers for each interaction during events.
One-Heart Event
Pub Quiz
To start Elvira’s first heart event, find her hosting a pub quiz any time after reaching your first heart with her. Half the town turns out, Orlock, Samael, Ludo, Evan, Mina, Brook, and Saga among them, for a full night of vampire trivia. This one’s straight factual quiz content rather than a sentiment-based choice, so there’s no “best” answer to flag here, just answer along with the crowd.
A sample of the questions: what do vampires crave most (blood), what won’t you find for sale at Coffee & Coffins (Stilla Amoris Wine, which they very much do sell), and which creature caused the most property damage in Moonlight Peaks over the past year (Orlock, who paid for all of it). Get enough right and Elvira crowns you a certified vampire expert.
Dialogue Choices:
Two-Heart Event
A Bat’s Secret
You catch Elvira red-handed stashing tiny gifts, notes, charms, candy, in little hidden “bat nooks” around town, entirely anonymously. She admits she likes the idea of someone stumbling on a surprise without ever knowing it was her, and swears you to secrecy.
Dialogue Choices:
- Promise to keep her secret,
- “Your secret’s safe with me.” (she mentions she’s even left one near your own plot, at the old crypt, for whenever you need a pick-me-up.)
- “Always thinking of others. You’re really sweet.” (same warmth, same crypt reveal follows either way.)
Three-Heart Event
Prelude to the Hunt
Elvira announces she’s been secretly building something for you: a full treasure hunt with hand-written clues she’ll send by letter. She clearly loves designing these, watching people piece together a puzzle she made is her favorite thing, and this is her asking if you’re actually up for it.
Dialogue Choices:
- Respond to the pitch,
- “That sounds awesome!” (“I’m glad you think so! I’ll hide clues all around town… I think you’ll love it!”)
- “A treasure hunt? For me?” (same excitement, same setup follows either way.)
Four-Heart Event
The Treasure Hunt
Quick flag: this tier had no title in the extracted data, so “The Treasure Hunt” is my own descriptive label, not a sourced one. In the scene, you finish the hunt Elvira built for you, and she’s thrilled you made it through, already scheming about running a town-wide version next.
Dialogue Choices:
- Tell her how the hunt went,
- “They were tricky but fun!” (“That’s what I like to hear! It wouldn’t be any fun if it was too easy, right? Now I’m thinking… wouldn’t it be amazing to set up a hunt for the whole town?”)
- “I’d love to do more of these!”
Five-Heart Event
Secret Scribbles
Elvira lets you in on something she doesn’t show most people: a messy pile of scribbled poems, doodles, and half-finished stories she’s kept for centuries, less a diary and more a way of holding onto pieces of herself. She picks one out for you to read, a story about getting chased by a Vampster.
Dialogue Choices:
- Respond to what she’s shown you,
- “I feel like I got to know you a little bit better, Elvira.” (“You’re one of the few I’d actually show this to.” She offers to show you her terrible drawings next.)
- “It’s great that you keep these.” (same offer to see the drawings follows either way.)
Six-Heart Event
Shaken, Not Stirred
With Samael, the bar’s actual mixologist, out for the night, Elvira commandeers the bar for some very bad homemade cocktails (Orlock, sampling one, immediately declares he’ll be sticking to wine). She gets nostalgic about wilder parties she’s been to over the centuries, castle masquerades and all.
Dialogue Choices:
- React to her stories of the old days,
- “Sounds incredible!” (“It really was… As much fun as those wild nights were, I prefer these quiet nights with you.”)
- “Must have been exhausting, too.” (same preference for tonight follows either way.)
- As you raise a glass to the terrible cocktails, offer a toast:
- “Just us and our terrible cocktails!“
- “Here’s to more of those!” (“To more adventures, better drinks, and… whatever this is!”)
Seven-Heart Event
Customized Keepsake
Elvira has been quietly building a scrapbook of the two of you, the marshmallow roasting night, the disastrous cocktail attempt, all of it, and admits she wanted something tangible to hold onto after centuries of experiences that usually just fade. It’s here that she tells you she loves you outright, admitting she never thought she could feel this way about anyone.
Dialogue Choices:
- Respond in kind,
- “I love you too, Elvira!” (“You have no idea how happy that makes me! I’ve waited so long to find someone like you. Someone who feels like home.”)
- “I feel the same way.”
After reaching Heart Level three in Moonlight Peaks, you will be able to hug Elvira, and starting from Heart Level Four, you can ask her out on dates, which also enables kissing. It is possible to lose hearts by doing badly on dates or giving hated presents. However, if you don’t give her a Coin, you should be headed in the right direction.
How to get married in Moonlight Peaks
Once you hit eight hearts with someone, a proposal option shows up at the end of a date.
If the other person says yes, you’ll be able to set the wedding date on the spot, which then logs itself on your calendar. You can swing by Third Eye Threads the next day for white wedding attire if you want to dress up, though the game won’t force you into it.
On the day itself, the ceremony kicks off the moment you wake up.
Marrying locks you into monogamy. Anyone else you were dating drops to a heartbroken “hurt” status capped at four hearts, and your new spouse gets two more hearts to earn with you.
How to break up in Moonlight Peaks
To break up or get a divorce, you’ll need to speak to Llemi.
When you’re ready, head to his place in the Pink Grove (you’ll need Luna Bay unlocked first) and tell him you want out. Sleep through the night and your ex is back to being a regular friend by morning.
If you’re hoping to remarry after, budget the time: you’re starting that climb back to eight hearts from scratch.
Still here? Good.
