Joining iconic Sanrio characters, players will build a tropical island resort perfect for anyone to escape to. However, you’ll need some tools and skills to truly make the most of this opportunity.

What is Hello Kitty Island Adventure? Basic Gameplay Overview

Hello Kitty Island Adventure has a similar gameplay loop to Animal Crossing. You land at a run-down adventure park and work together with various Sanrio characters to restore it. Each character has a series of friendship quests, and you’ll also have overarching quests to restore the park.

The game focuses on player-led exploration, encouraging the exploration of the entire map at the speed of whoever is working through the adventure.

Daily gifting, decorating, cooking, and finding various collectibles are all a core part of the laid-back, cozy gaming vibe.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Platforms

Currently, Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available on the following platforms:

• PC via Steam
• Nintendo Switch

A PlayStation version for PS4 and PS5 will reportedly be released sometime in 2025. However, we don’t have the exact release window just yet.

How to Find the Laziest Egg

One of the early Hello Kitty Island Adventure quests you’ll come across is Find the Laziest Egg. This is a special Gudetama that wears a top hat. Unfortunately, finding him isn’t as easy as going to a specific spot. The Laziest Egg spawns at random, just like the other Gudetama.

So, exploring the island and keeping an eye out is the best way to find the Laziest Egg. It can spawn in any biome, making this more of a long-term scavenger hunt than a quest you’ll tick off immediately.

How to Find Stamina Apple Slices

Stamina Apples Slices are found in chests both on the map and in dungeons. They can also be earned as Friendship Level rewards for specific characters.

How many Stamina Apple Slices Does A Stamina Apple Need?

Stamina Apples can be crafted with five Stamina Apple Slices at the Crafting Station.

How to Get the Stamina Apple Crafting Plans

To get the crafting plans for Stamina Apple crafting, collect five Stamina Apple Slices after starting the “Fantastic Fruit” Quest.

Take the apples and Speak to Chococat to recieve the crafting plans.

Badtz-maru is a jokester who loves to hang out by the water. Leveling up your friendship with him is essential if you want to learn how to fish. He hangs out near the player’s house, making him an ideal character to build relationship with early on.

Badtz-maru will help the player learn all about fishing, while also keeping things light with some pranks and jokes along the way. Many of his quests focus on outfits and other non-essential items, but you’ll want to make sure to Keep it Reel to unlock fishing.

• Prank Preparation – First Badtz-Maru quest that unlocks Water Balloon recipe.
• Keep it Reel – Level 3 quest that unlocks fishing ability.
• Fish Tales – Complete “Keep it Reel”
• Fish Noir – Level 11 quest that requires the diving ability to hunt down Badtz-maru’s missing fishing rod and unlock a detective outfit.
