The Official WoW Tarot Deck Releases Just in Time for the Holidays

As if all the excitement from the World of Warcraft 20th anniversary stream wasn’t enough, there’s more good things on the horizon for WoW fans. Especially WoW fans who also happen to be a little bit witchy… or just really love collecting card-shaped goodies.

Soon, World of Warcraft fans will be able to get their hands on an official Tarot Deck & Guidebook inspired by the world of Azeroth. Steeped in the lore and legends of the game, this new deck will let players connect to their favorite world and characters in a whole new way. And it’s coming out just in time for celebrating the game’s 20th anniversary… not to mention the winter holiday season!

You Don’t Need a Crystal Ball To Foresee the World of Warcraft Official Tarot

Here at Bonus Action, we love a themed deck of Tarot cards… especially when that theme aligns with our love of gaming. World of Warcraft: The Official Tarot Deck & Guidebook is launching into the world on December 10 of this year – meaning it can easily be a great gift to a WoW loving friend or yourself.

It will be a traditional 78-card deck featuring the major and minor arcana along with a comprehensive guidebook. In addition to explanations of each card’s theme, the book will include sample spreads to guide your readings. So whether you’re new to tarot or a seasoned pro, you’ll have guidance to learn this deck’s unique meanings and create readings for yourself and others.

The cards will each feature brand-new, hand-illustrated art inspired by the game. From what we’ve seen so far, the cards brilliantly combine iconic imagery from WoW with the archetypal meanings of the cards, making it a beautiful blend of the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot system and the gaming world fans know and love.

Plus, the deck will arrive in a deluxe gift box that will protect your cards for years to come… and make it easier to prep for gifting to that special someone.

The official WoW Tarot Deck & Guidebook releases on December 10, 2024, and is available for preorder now from publisher Insight Editions.
