This roundup includes exciting news, tips and tricks, and some interesting player data from the game – including a sneak peek at what’s next. Apparently, Stylists have collectively caught 78,010,000 Pink Ribbon Eels! That’s a lot to trade with Mitcheli! Hopefully, she had enough rewards prepared. In total weight, that’s 200256160 kilograms, or roughly 200256 tonnes! This impressive detail shows just how many of us are enjoying the ongoing live events, even if we have to wait for nightfall to reel in those special eels.
Considering cozy gamers like to debate fishing mechanics, it’s always interesting to see how many fans enjoy the grind. With Infinity Nikki, the mechanic mostly seems to hit the sweet spot – you have to work at it a little, but it’s not quite Stardew Valley levels of finesse required to pull in even a tricky fish like the Pink Ribbon Eel. I, for one, think it’s one of the better fishing mechanics I’ve seen in recent years, and as someone who often avoids fishing in games whenever possible, that’s saying something.
Pink Ribbon Eel stats aren’t all fans can find in the Whimsical Tabloid Issue 1, however. The Lucky Fishing Day exclusive also includes a first teaser for the next festival coming to Florawish. Apparently, preparations for the Carnival of Fireworks are underway, which is almost certainly a hint at the theme for our next set of live events. The Shooting Star Festival events are set to wrap up by January 23, which means we’re under 10 days away from what’s coming next.
