When is the Lucky Journey Fishing Event in Infinity Nikki?
The Take the Bait, Pink Ribbon Eel! event runs from December 29, 2024 – January 23, 2025. During that time, players can catch Pink Ribbon Eels and complete the Lucky Moments and Fun Encounters quests to earn rewards.
How to Catch a Pink Ribbon Eel

The Pink Ribbon Eel is a tricky fish to catch, as it only appears in a specific time and place in Infinity Nikki. But to complete this event, you’ll need to catch one, so let’s cover the basics.
To catch a Pink Ribbon Eel, you need to fish at night while the shooting stars are visible in the sky. Unlike some quests that let you skip time, you’ll have to wait for the old-fashioned way to catch these fish, so it’s not a bad idea to stock up at night so you can use them to complete quest objectives throughout the day.
The fish only appear in Silken Lake, the area between the Leisureely Anglers building and the Swan Gazebo. Try standing on the pier near the pink balloons at night and casting your rod using the Fishing Outfit to catch one. You can also find the Croaker on a lotus leaf boat, which will take you out to the middle of the lake to fish for Pink Ribbon Eels.

When Pink Ribbon Eels are available in a school of fish, you’ll see little pink bubbles popping up over them. Cast your line and you just might get lucky!
They can be quite a bit trickier to catch than many fish, so be prepared to reel them in three or so times before they get close enough for Nikki to pull out of the water.
How to Complete All Lucky Moments

The Lucky Moments section of Infinity Nikki’s Lucky Fishing Day event has three tasks. Two of them will be unlocked as long as the player has reached the Dream Warehouse portion of the main storyline. The third requires players to complete the Truth and Celebration exclusive quest first. Here’s how to finish all three and reap the rewards!
Mystery of the Lake Monster
To begin this quest, head to the Leisureely Anglers Florawish Branch fast travel point.

Then, talk to a man named Donald who is standing looking out at the water. Ask him about Lucky Fishing Day – the dialogue option marked with the quest bubble. He’ll share rumors about a lake monster people suspect is causing mayhem at the Leisureely Anglers.

You will need to return to the Leisureely Anglers at night to investigate. If you head out to the water, you’ll see a glowing yellow orb that you can interact with to skip to the right time in-game.

At that point, you’ll see a cutscene that reveals the creature behind all the strange occurrences. Groom the creature with the Grooming Outfit when Momo tells you to.
Then, you’ll need to wait until morning to tell Donald what you’ve learned. If you go back to where he was standing, you can once again use the “Wait” feature to skip time. When he appears, talk to Donald to tell him what you know.
At this point, your mission is complete and you’ve earned yourself 40 Diamonds, 150 Shiny Bubbles, and 30K Blings.
Friendship is Bubbling!
Before you can start this quest, be sure to complete the Shooting Star Season Exclusive Quest Truth and Celebration. This mainly involves running around Florawish talking to Captain Hiya and her guard, so it’s pretty quick and easy to complete if you just follow the quest markers.
Once you do, you will unlock Friendship is Bubbling! This quest also requires Polly and Pepo. If you haven’t completed the Thanks! Fish Knight World Quest yet, they might be tied up, and you will need to finish that before you can do Friendship is Bubbling!

To complete Thanks! Fish Knight, talk to Donald at the Leisureely Anglers Florawish Branch and follow the steps to bring Pepo a Pink Ribbon Eel and Polly a Carryfin. Then, you’re ready to start Friendship is Bubbling!
To begin Friendship is Bubbling! make sure it’s daytime. Then, find Pepo standing near the Leisureely Anglers Florawish Branch counter.

He wants to help Polly make a dress as pretty as a Pink Ribbon Eel, but she needs inspiration. He asks you to find her and wear something that looks like a Pink Ribbon Eel.
Head down the path to find Polly and talk to her to hear about her predicament.

Then, talk to her again to begin a Styling Contest with the “Flowing Ribbon” theme. You will need items that are Sweet and Cute to pass this challenge. The free Enchanted Brilliance dress from Nikki’s birthday works well as a base for this outfit, as do many of the items that come with the outfit.

After you win the challenge, Pepo will come to check on Polly. Momo suggests they take a photo together to commemorate the moment. Line them both up in the shot, then show them the photo to complete the quest.
As a reward, you’ll get the Pink Ribbon Eel Polly caught, plus 40 Diamonds, 150 Shiny Bubbles, and 30K Blings.
Bad Luck, Good Luck
To start the Bad Luck, Good Luck quest, head down the shore past the Leisureely Anglers Florawish Branch until you see a gazebo decorated with pink flowers.

There, you’ll find a guy named Marco who’s debating whether to tell Valentina how he feels.

After Nikki and Momo convince him to confess, he’ll ask for a little help. Specifically, head back to the Leisureely Anglers Florawish Branch and ask Valentina to meet Marco at the gazebo. She’s not actually at the building, but on the pier nearby, so be sure to follow the quest marker to find her.

She wants to give a special someone a Pink Ribbon Eel, only she’s not having any luck. Naturally, that means you’ll be donning the Fishing Outfit and catching one for her. If you already have one, hand it over – otherwise, wait for nightfall and reel one in. Hand it over, then it’s back to Marco to let him know that Valentina is on her way.

To complete his big confession, Marco needs a Florapom! If you have one, give it to him. Otherwise, you can easily find one in the Breezy Meadow area nearby.
Watch their conversation, and when the happy ending is complete, you’ll receive 40 Diamonds, 35 Shining Particles, and 40K Blings.
How to Complete All Fun Encounters

The Fun Encounters for the Lucky Fishing Day event require you to catch even more Pink Ribbon Eels. Here’s how to complete all three!
Ribbon Eel Exchange
The Ribbon Eel Exchange is located at Mitcheli’s stall near the Leisureely Anglers Florawish Branch.

When you first speak with her, she’ll explain all about the Ribbon Eel Exchange. She also gives you some tips about how to catch the Pink Ribbon Eel.

Next, bring her your Pink Ribbon Eels in exchange for prizes. Hand over your first one to complete the quest and earn 30 Diamonds, 100 Threads of Purity, and 30K Blings.
After you complete this first quest exchange, you can bring Mitcheli more Pink Ribbon Eels to get surprise gifts, such as 100 Diamonds. The Eels can only be used for completing quests and for the exchange, so as long as you don’t currently need them for quests, go ahead and exchange with Mitcheli for prizes!
Lucky Pink Ribbon Eel
Start this quest by talking to Ocheno on the pier near the Leisureely Anglers Florawish Branch.

He’ll share that he’s hoping to catch a lucky Pink Ribbon Eel to help repair his relationship with his son, but he needs your help.

Give Ocheno one Pink Ribbon Eel to complete the quest. He’ll accept one you already have, or follow our tips above to catch one at night in Silken Lake.
Once you give him a Pink Ribbon eel, he’ll finish his tale and you’ll earn 30 Diamonds, 100 Threads of Purity, and 30K Blings.
Kindled Inspiration: Lucky Clothing
To complete this quest, find someone named Mysti standing in Breezy Meadow, looking out over the field.

She is near the Cicia Art Academy Field Base fast travel point, so it’s quite easy to find her. Talk to her, and she’ll explain her desire to catch a Pink Ribbon Eel for luck.

Like any Kindled Inspiration quest, Mysti is looking to see some specific clothing to help give her the inspiration she needs.
Unlike most of these quests, however, it’s not just one item of clothing you’ll need. Instead, put on a Fishing Ability outfit (Rippling Serenity is the default one) and speak to Mysti while wearing it.

You can do this by heading to your wardrobe and equipping it from the Outfits tab. Be sure to save before exiting so keep the outfit equipped.
Then, talk to her to complete the quest and earn your rewards – 30 Diamonds, 100 Shiny Bubbles, and 30K Blings.
