The change in weather also marks the transition to Season 14 in Diablo IV. Starting on June 30, 2026, players will tackle new challenges and start new seasonal characters for “Death Awakening.” The new season comes with a handful of exciting features, a free trial for the Warlock class, and a new way to enjoy solo play.
In this season, players will be dealing with a world post-Mephisto. Dark Rituals have created an outbreak of “Ruptures” that players can close for special currency. These “Glints of Hope” can be exchanged at the reputation boards for rewards. There is also the ability to craft Mythic Unique items using Pandemonium Fragments.
Players will also have the chance to go against Realmwalkers, who have returned to Sanctuary alongside the Pandemonium Ruptures. Defeating them will grant players access to the Deathtoll Chamber dungeon.
Diablo IV Season 14 Debuts Mythic Uniques 3.0
As of Diablo IV Season 14, Mythic Uniques 3.0 has debuted. As broken down in the blog post for Season 14 on the official Blizzard website, every Unique can not be Mythic. The breakdown states that “instead of being an item Rarity, Mythic is now a modifiable Item Quality.”
Alongside these changes, all Uniques can now drop as Mythic Uniques or be converted into Mythic Uniques using the Horadric Cube. The ability to craft Mythic Uniques begins when players reach level 70 in Torment+.
A New Way To Play Solo
In addition to the crafting changes, Diablo IV Season 14 will also bring Tower and Leaderboards out of beta. To celebrate this, “Death Awakening” has added a Solo Self Found leaderboard for players who enjoy exploring the sanctuary on their own. This new leaderboard includes Normal and Hardcore options, with progression and ranks that offer specific rewards.
Players who rise through the ranks can earn a Halo Cosmetic and a Prestige Title for the season. They will then reset for Season 15.
Give Warlock a Try For Free

Diablo IV‘s Season 14 will also include an opportunity to try the Lord of Hatred expansion class, Warlock, free of charge. This class will be available to play for free on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation from June 30, 2026, through July 7, 2026.
Those who want to try Warlock out can play up to Level 30. To continue playing after the free trial, players will need to purchase the Lord of Hatred expansion. Warlock is one of our favorite classes, and it is a great opportunity to see if this magic-wielding powerhouse is right for your playstyle.
