Sennheiser announced at Gamescom 2026 that it will partner with Mercedes-Benz to release a unique version of the HD 620S headphones. The Mercedes-AMG Gaming edition of the popular headphones will feature an upgraded appearance with red accents and the addition of an HD 500 BAM mic, which all offer high-quality voice recording and communication alongside top-tier hi-fi listening.
When it comes to quality listening, Sennheiser delivers excellent, comfortable options that outperform many other options on the market. My Momentum 4 Wireless headphones are my daily go-to companions for train travel, house cleaning, and evening audiobooks. Because of this, I am particularly excited for this notable collaboration between the two well-known brands.
Sennheiser’s HD 620 Mercedes-AMG Headphones Are Designed for Gamers

In this collaboration, Sennheiser hopes to showcase how hi-fi can boost the sound experience of gaming – especially for those who enjoy racing sims. Sennheiser hopes to deliver a form of immersion that can only be achieved through accurately reproduced sound. From the grind of tires biting into pavement to the spit of gravel as players flash by landmarks, these HD 620 headphones are designed to bring the track to your living room.
One of the best parts of this collaboration is the comfort. Sennheiser is known for particularly comfortable over-ear headphones – something that keeps me using mine when ear fatigue would have long taken over in other brands.
These luxurious headphones will look incredible, sound amazing, and elevate both gaming and daily listening. Those at Gamescom this week have the opportunity to check the collaboration out firsthand, as samples are available at the Mercedes-Benz booth on the main floor.
The HD 620 Mercedes-AMG edition will be shipping in November and will cost $464, slightly above the standard HD 620S headphones currently for sale on the Sennheiser website. At this time, they are not available for pre-order, but those interested in grabbing a pair can keep an eye on the Sennheiser website for updates on when they will be available for sale.
Still here? Good.
