Lovers of all things cozy and fans of the #VanLife will no doubt be excited to learn of the upcoming indie game Camper Van: Make It Home. Taking inspiration from narrative space-design games like Unpacking, this cozy takes you on a journey of personal discovery while making space to store your stuff in your camper van.
Malapata Studio has shared many beautiful, soothing images of gameplay throughout development, and now, we’re about to get our hands on the first-ever gameplay demo!
Camper Van Demo Debuts During Cozy & Family Friendly Games Celebration 2024
Malapata Studio announced via X (formerly Twitter) that their first-ever demo for Camper Van: Make it Home will debut during the upcoming Cozy & Family Friendly Games Celebration on Steam.
The Steam event celebrating all things cozy begins on May 30 and runs through June 4, with many indie games taking part to share demos, announcements, and other exciting details for current and upcoming games.
Players eager to get a firsthand look at the gameplay for this camper van game will be able to download the demo via Steam once the celebration begins on May 30.
Camper Van: Make it Home initially began on Kickstarter, where they hit their target goal in less than 24 hours. Since then, the game has amassed a small but dedicated fanbase via social media, where the developers share behind-the-scenes sneak peeks of the game.
No word yet from the studio on whether the demo will continue to be available after the gaming fest ends on June 4, and we also don’t know just how long the demo will be.
Even so, those who’ve been eagerly awaiting a chance to get behind the wheel of Camper Van should certainly mark the date and snag the free demo from Steam while they can.
There is no official release date yet for Camper Van: Make it Cozy, but it is available to Wishlist on Steam, where you can also view the teaser trailer showing early footage of gameplay.
