Razer has picked the perfect time of year to announce a major upgrade for some of its most popular headphones. The Kraken Kitty V3 is out now and comes in iconic black and green, pink, and white – complete with kitty ears that glow thanks to Chroma RGB. These wired headphones are just as adorable in person as they are in the picture, and the newest version offers some really great upgrades.
My sister and I have been big fans of the Kraken Kitty headphones since their first iteration debuted. Not only do they come in pink, which is an awesome shake-up for cozy gamers, but they are extremely comfortable, durable, and functional. The V2 has a bit of a tighter headband than the original, but the upgraded build of the V3 seems to address some of those little snags.
Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Wired Headphones Interact With Your Games
The Kraken Kitty V3 headphones come with a variety of exciting features. The first and most recognizable is Chroma RGB compatibility. The headset features 16.8 million colors and a “Stream-Reactive” option that allows the headphone ears to change color in response to apps, emotes, and other notifications.
You will also have the ability to create three different “character” presets, whether you enjoy a specific type of lighting or plan to stream as a specific character during a gaming session. I know I’ll be looking forward to creating a Diablo IV color scheme as soon as possible.
The Kraken Kitty V3 headset also features Razer’s HyperClear Cardioid Microphone and TriForce 40 mm drivers with 7.1 surround sound, which deliver clear, crisp audio that is amplified by passive noise isolation and soft, cozy ear cushions.
If you are looking to upgrade your gaming experience and your overall vibes this October, the Razer Kraken Kitty V3 headphones are available now on Razer’s website and at participating retail stores for $99.99. They might make the perfect holiday gift for a friend or an adorable splurge for your own desk setup.
Still here? Good.
