Mystical energy isn’t easy to harness in Voyagers of Nera, and players will need plenty of materials to build powerful Spirit Anchors. One of the key components of Spiritual crafting for the Anchors and Manaforge is the Ancient Fragment. However, these aren’t craft or farmable.
While rare as drops, players are introduced to the Ancient Fragment early in the game. A single fragment can be claimed in the tutorial cave. However, once collected, these fragments do not respawn.
Below is everything players need to know to find Ancient Fragments in Voyagers of Nera.
How to Find Spirit Fragments in Voyagers of Nera

To find Spirit Fragments in Voyagers of Nera, players must travel to locations with large populations of Mana Monsters. The Fragments typically spawn on islands with enemy populations, and can also be located near Spirits that need rescuing.
Additionally, Ancient Fragments can be found in lost urns. They appear to be a rare drop, but occasionally populate alongside the Twine and Bone Nails, which are a more common drop.
No enemies in the game drop Ancient Fragments, so the only way to locate them is via exploration. Smaller islands and areas with higher levels of enemies appear to have more of the fragments than earlier locations offer.
What Are Ancient Fragments Used For?
The Ancient Fragments in Voyagers of Nera are primarily used when crafting and upgrading the Spirit Anchor. They are needed in large quantities to continue upgrading the anchor.
Additionally, they are required for building critical crafting stations like the Manaforge. Without them, players won’t have access to the more powerful options offered by the forge. It is important to hold onto these items in a storage space, so they don’t end up lost after a knockout while exploring the world.
